Story
As he hopped the trees on a remote island, watching the sun meet the friendly ocean, he saw a sparkling bottle reaching the sandy shore. It appeared to contain a message and upon opening the bottle, he unfolded the scroll inside. On a squawking tone, it said:

S.O.S.! Bad birds have kidnapped me and keep me prisoner on the Far Away Island. Somebody HELP!!! Princess"

He looked around, scouting the horizon. Theres no time to waste!, he thought. Princess needs me and I will have no rest until Ill find her. He pecked for some insects and prepared the slingshot to cast him on his journey. But before launch, he grabbed the scroll and wrote his own message to send to the world:

Off to save Princess. PLS RT!!!

As cheap a Angry Birds clone it might at first appear, there is actually something kind of clever here. The game combines the best of one of those "Hot Dog Down the Hall" games with a little Angry Birds smashing and even a little Mario find all of the coins on the level. Each level tracks its own top score as well as giving you a big list of Tiny Wing like objectives to clear so as to open the next level.

My only gripe, being Mr. Random, is that, by the very nature of the game, these levels are all completely scripted (everything will be in the same place each time you play the level). While this allows some clever level design and objectives that are tightly tied to the level's layout, I personally have issues having to go through the same level again and again to clear all of the objectives. To the game's credit, you can never see everything in them even after several runs and it is kind of fun trying to find your own optimal route to maximize your score on the level.

4/5

+1 to LG's comments. This game has the disadvantage of looking like a cross between Angry Birds and Tiny Wings. While there are some similarities with those games, they're largely superficial. This has the "one more try" element to a great extent. I hope this gets a little attention, it's quite fun.

Hi everybody,

I have a question. What do you think about this game when seeing the screenshots? Or the video, for that matter?
I'm asking this because I think it makes the game look like it's something else and that's misleading.

It works for the most part but I think what you need to compliment it is a 2-3 minute video of uninterrupted gameplay of a single level. Let us see the objectives screen for a level, a run on that level, a few objectives now crossed off, and then another run at that same level that perhaps then clears the rest of the objectives so we can then see the player moving onto the objective screen of the next level.

With all of the quick cuts in this video it isn't clear if this is some Angry Birds clone one second and maybe one of those tap n' fly copter like games the next second. Only by seeing how all of these elements all work together seamlessly in this game by seeing a full run of a level will it be clear, I think.

This is a simple, enjoyable game. Technically well put together.

Would like to see a splash when the bird falls in the water. Along the same lines, would like to see some spray, etc. as the bird flies low over it; basically some sort of interaction with the water and graphical feedback would make for a more enjoyable experience.

Gabrien, you are perfectly right. I've also felt that water splashes were missing. Also, it would be nice for all Objects in water to move a little, like they are floating.

Thanks, LordGek. I'll have a gameplay video done soon.
Has anybody tried the "message in a bottle" feature?
