hmm not really sure exactly the number of leaves you will earn each game because I never kept track but I do remember whenever I upgraded my Holy Leaves I just started receiving alot more that is how I was able to buy the mercenaries and other upgrades....

If I'm understanding your other posts correctly, you're not advancing until you get it perfect right? Which towers do you have available at that level? I can't remember at what point they were all unlocked I'll try playing it again later to see if I can remember my strategy but I don't want to use a lightning tower or something and you not have it, haha.

Although, what I can say is, I've cleared it on easy and normal so far and I rarely use bomb towers on maps. Also, I don't know if I understood you correctly or not but I generally use more than 3 anti-air towers. Hate air waves! those screw me over so often.

Standard tower, bomb, slow and air. That's all I've got. And the tree mercenary.

K, just did it on normal. Dunno how step-by-step you need it but here's what I had at the end.

P= pathway
I= Icer
S= Samson
HT= Hero Tree
A= Anti-air tower
R= Rock
T= your base tree or whatever it is
#= what level it was, ex. A2= level 2 anti-air tower, SM = max level samson
X= empty space

If that makes any sense, not sure how to take a picture or video on my phone. I can try to put it up in an excel file or something if that will be clearer.

Note, I do have the level 1 samson and level 1 icer upgrade but the stat ups were pitiful so I doubt it will make a huge difference. The level 1 samson upgrade was only 10 leaves if it really matters(and boosted it's attack by like.. 1 lol) and I don't upgrade my icers much. Also, I did remove the rock in the center to place my hero tree. I know you said no items but 10 shovels are only 50 leaves and you get 1-5 or so leaves from removing rocks from what I've seen so you may have to just bite that bullet.

I generally start with a lvl 2 samson at the spot above where the two paths meet, then I make an icer just to the right and under the upper path arrow, then I make the samson lvl 3, then I remove the center rock and put my hero there, then I make a second icer just to the right and up from the bottom path arrow, then I make another level 2 samson in the spot NE of the second icer, and so on.

I think I made 3 anti air towers before I upgraded any of them. The samson and the icer towards the end upper path and the samson on the bottom were a couple "oops" towers I paused and placed because I was saving money and 2 mobs from the last fast ground wave slipped through so they may not be necessary if you don't get complacent like I did. Also, I ended up maxing my hero tree.

I'm pretty sure I used 1 lvl 2 or 3 bomb tree the first time I did it but I just did it without them this time so feel free to use them if you want. I probably put it where my second samson goes. It's not that I find bomb trees bad or samsons particularly good, it's just that I usually have most of my trouble on fast air waves and they can't shoot up . If you need me to, I'll replay it later and write down step-by-step what I did if you're still having trouble.

edit- I only used the haste buff for boss waves.

I never spam the cheapest tower in TD so guess you've just opened up a new play perspective for me . Dunno why, but they don't 'appear' to be economic to me compared to AoE bombs.

I'll try your strategy and see how I go.

Oh, interesting, thanks for the info on the screenshot Also, I don't claim the strategy to be optimal, haha. I just know it worked on my first crack at it. Later on I pretty much only use 1 samson for the first two waves and then I use the other towers so it doesn't get used much.

Does any one have any tips for Artic Level 6 (Tundra)? I'm pretty suck... despite using all three mercs skills. The last 3-4 waves of creeps simply have so much health...
