Not had a chance to play with the update yet....did you see my feedback about the spanner icon? I thought maybe you could change the icon to a 'repair plane' or something like that?

Yes I'll probably change the icon in the Midway update, into the appropriate support aircraft - probably the de Havilland Albatross for the RAF and the Junkers 52 for the Luftwaffe. There is another update coming in the meantime with the Ploesti campaign which might still have the old icon.

While not realistic in the least, I find the spanner icon a nice clear indication of the team's purpose. If you do go the plane route hopefully it will have some unique color or something so as to not confuse it with an actual fighting plane (especially for us clueless gamers who know nothing about the many different makes of WW2 planes).

Completely agree - it still needs to stand out - but it's got to be different than a spanner icon. I'm sure karlth will get it right

Maybe it could be one of those Red Cross vans or something

v1.2 got delayed for 2 days and will be submitted on Wednesday. Sorry about the slight delay, but it will be worth it with a bundle of improvements and a new campaign (free of course).

Admittedly, when I first read that this was a line drawing game, I dismissed it as a game similar to a number of LD-game predecessors. However, a couple of gameplay vids I found online along with the current forum-speak have convinced me that there is more to the game than my over-generalized presumptions. I am buying this game right now...
