So, played through a couple of times, and it seems church makes my people go friggin' nuts. It makes them happy, but then they eventually begin to commit suicide one by one, dwindling my population down quickly, not to mention the fact no one wants to work because everyone's celebrating the suicide. WTF!?
Is it best to convert any churches to something else, or is this type of church culture random in each game? |

It's not the church buildings that do that, it's the cult - Church of the Chosen Ones I think they are called. If you prevent the cult from starting/growing I don't think you have a problem.

How do you get the science finish? The gu has been holed up in his lab for over 250 days, even granted him the assistant. I have every tech researched and anothe 10 science guys maxed out.
