For all of you complaining about the glitch in world 1, i have the answer: remove the game from your device AND gamecenter, reinstall it and here ya go (of course dont do it on the second run
)

Thanks for the update. I have Been able to play for ~25 minutes without a crash . Love the new/old double jump. The world 1 times are feeling slightly easy but i assume they get harder.

I agree with Raptor and Qpawn about the first mission time being 0. Yes, the people who glitched that level would have their times lowered since they didn't complete the level in 0 seconds (I'm only assuming.) However, people who didn't glitch it would have their times lowered even more- making everyone completely even with a time of 0.
It works well because it's the training level, I think it would make sense to correct the discrepancy in times. Although, I'm aware that chapter 1 mission 1 isn't the only level to have been glitched. Someone said: "On Chapter 1, Mission 20, I pressed 'a' before the start of the mission, and I accidently kicked the scientist in about 1.9 sec." In this instance, I don't expect a correction on the leaderboards, but can whatever caused this to happen be stopped from occurring again in the game? Otherwise, I just don't see a point in competing for the best time if multiple people continue to encounter time reducing glitches. It would help a great deal if the mission 1 time was an automated 0, though. |

A load of bugs at the top of the leaderboards essentially make them pointless unless they are balanced somehow, anyways.
At this rate, I probably wouldn't play this game to compete with leaderboard times if I have to spend all of my time bug-hunting. Glad to see the stability has been improved, Ravenous. Thanks for the dedication (and avoiding answering my question about if you were surely changing double-jumping thing multiple times weeks ago ). I also support your decision to not allow the title screen to be skipped. I can give up a whole two seconds of my life up for the game to load up, anyways. Other games have longer boot screens. If it bothers someone, they should just think of it as a loading transition. |
