Hey there guys. Now most of you don’t know me. I chim in randomly on games that I feel are worth posting about, games that strike me so greatly, that I have to put my 2 cents in. I just spent 20 minutes reading all the reviews and peoples opinions about the game how they bring the IOS platform “10 steps back”. Can you explain that a bit more in detail for me? Just because a game is a minigame of sorts doesn’t mean it brings the genre back in time. This game is great, and for .99 its worth every penny. If the devs wanted to make the main character move, they would have, if the devs wanted to give her an upgraded gun, they would have. The point is, they made it perfectly clear that she is the last human alive, and she’s on top of a huge pyramid…. Your just fighting to kill a couple or a few HUNDRED more aliens freaks… It’s a micro game that you play for 3 mins then put away, or if you’re chasing that high score (like me) you’ll play for awhile…the controls are great and you guys should give them a chance. It’s a learning curve and what I have found out is games with a learning curve like this… people tend to get frustrated and of coarse, systematically will delete the game. Give it a 20 min spin and see if you wont like the sweet retro artwork, and the cool chiptune music. I give this game a 5/5 and I put it up for nomination in the TA Game Of The Week. I choose it over PVS and all the other big games releases. This is a gem that I hope the Developer knows is a great game, sure its not groundbreaking…. But who cares, that’s not what makes a good game… its how you implant it, delivery, controls, and playability… I see all of that here. So what if it has no story… no upgrades,,, a single gun…. Tricky accuracy shots. It’s a game you get better with time at. I wish all of you guys would see it like I have and embrace it… this game is on my first page on my springboard, along with all the other great games I have collected in the history of the App Store. Now I don’t know MC or Gabrien to much. But know this, I spent maybe 20-30 USD a week on IOS games. I have over 600 games in total. Im pretty sure I have played more games on this genre then most people on this site, Not to mention I have been a member here for longer then probably 95% of you. Basically, all of us are entitled to our opinions, and people will always chime in with 💩their opinions either positively, or negatively, of coarse not everyone will like games I like, but this game deserves some praise. And I hope it gets it. I basically said the same thing about Theseus when it first came out. Lol x_x💩 Ha, anyway, ok im out…. Look for my random post sometime…. O and …ZIGGURAT FOR GAME OF THE WEEK!!

I just came to check on how this game is doing and if people had a change of heart or posted a second impression.
Didn't expect the dev himself to pop in and seems like that everyone is getting into this now. Its good to know people are getting into it, personally, I feel that this game is actually really good.

To each their own, but I love this game and the further you get it keeps adding new wrinkles. At least so far. I saw that spaceship but didn't get any shots in before dying. LOL.

Whoa hey.

I changed my mind about being rude to the devs who worked on a game a lot, who is proud and enthusiastic about it by right. For me it's still a prototype thing, like the waaay overhyped Canabalt and some other "bite-sized" games. I have enough of those. Oh and I tried every control method in Ziggurat, and I think I "got" the game eventually (it wasn't that sophisticated to begin with). Played several rounds, got bored (I know, I SHOULD play a LOT more, but I fear I won't).

The king is still butt naked for me.

I'm glad people like the game. That means more money for you and a chance to make some better games. Now can we talk about your next project? I sense some potential here, to say the least.

oh! i was confusing you for that other guy, thennnnnnnnn.

never mind!

we will talk about our next game really soon! it's going to be fantastic! i will try not to hype it aside from saying that. if things go well, we should be able to start making these games as a job, and not as something we do in our spare time (we made ziggurat in our spare time).

No offense (and I'm seriously done arguing with people in this thread), but you obviously didn't spend enough time reading through this thread if you completely missed my change of heart, "apology" to Tim Rogers for judging the game too quickly, and then me subsequently recommending the game.

You are the God King of videogames, iOS and ToucArcade...I shall bow before you, sire.

What the Hell does this have to do with anything? This honestly cracks me up. First off, it doesn't matter how long you've been here; it's your contribution that matters. You may have been here for the last 4 years while Gabrien and I have been around less, but we've contributed to this place far, FAR more than you have. Go through both of our post history and you'll find so many instances where one tiny word from either of us was enough to convince someone to check out a game.

Also, if you're saying everyone's entitled to their own opinions, then what the **** was the purpose in name-dropping? No one's forcing me to like the game and you telling me you have 600 games and have been here longer than me certainly isn't going to change that.

Also, I have 300 apps on my phone right now and at least 1000 sitting on this laptop and my external hard-drive. There have been months where I've spent over $100 on apps. Oh, and you have 160 posts while I have 1,298 (this included). 1) I haz moar appz dan u. 2) I am bettuh memba ov TachUrcayd den u. Okie? Bullshit.

Christ, in over 1000 posts here, I haven't had to respond to ANYONE by comparing myself to them or insulting people like I have in this thread. I'm a ****ing humble, respectful man and you can ask anyone here that's been around long enough to know one poster from another (which you clearly haven't). ****...forget me for a second; you don't know Gabrien of all people? >_>

You can respond to this, but it would pointless. I'm certainly not going to respond back to anyone who runs around with a scepter, crown and a "Holier than thou" attitude anymore.
