Agreed on the split screen. It's just too small. I'll vote for option A. More tracks. The cars, I can wait for.

Another vote here for online multiplayer at some point!

Until then, I go with more races too.

As for the two player on iPhone I'm not so sure, I struggle playing the one player mode on the iPhone (I have big hands I guess!!) but I find that on a lot of games (and this is one of the best for control placement) though on the iPad it's perfect :-) I guess you'd be damned if you did and damned if you didn't!!!!

Keep up the excellent work this is one of my (and my friends) favorite games of all time on the iPad/iPhone you've hit the controls/physics bang on, I look forward to the updates and keep my fingers crossed for some network play if possible!
Thanks for the feedback Rob. Totally apprecieate it.

I agree, multi-player racing against friends either over local network, or internet, would be super-awesome. It may take a while for that to happen though, but will deffo be looking in to it at some point.

Okay, I'm getting the feeling, both from here and also user comments on that AppStore, that you all want more tracks, and you want em, like, yesterday...

I better get busy!..

Just bought the game, I am really impressed how smooth it is and brings me back memories from the Amiga days.
I have mainly bought that game because years ago, I loved Nitro and heard that you were part of the dev team that made it (could be wrong

My only complain, or I should say wish, is for the game to support iCade!!!
That would be so great in one player mode! (or upcoming 2 player modes over the network?? .
Anyway, I couldn't find any information about iCade support for this game before I bought it, even if it doesn't support it I am still very much happy with this game, but it would be great if you bring that support.
According to Stuart Carnie (from the c64 app) it is quite easy to implement and he even has created a great iOS SDK used by many developers(one said it took him 30 minutes to implement)... but that's easy for me to say that, I am not the programmer

https://github.com/scarnie/iCade-iOS

Maybe something to consider in the future?
I must admit I am surprised that not all developers of retro games do not include icade support by default!

Let me finish though by saying thank you very much for your great games! past, present and future!
Bugs.

For the split screen on iPhone, actually I think it would be great to have it anyway!
You could always put a disclaimer as stating that for the full 2 player experience an iPad is recommended and that 2 player game option on an iPhone is an added bonus.

I prefer to have the option of something I will never use than not having it if I ever want to use it!

Think this will happen in an update as follow the dev on twitter and i know hes got an icade. And yep i wish more retro games would add icade support from the start, lots of small devs seem to add it, the larger companies dont seem to bother which is a shame

Yeah, I actually developed Nitro originally on the Atari ST, to about 60% completion, then showed it Psygnosis, signed contracts, and finshed if off with them providing some graphics (though, the cars were mine). Also, did an Amiga version too with them.

Love iCade! I'm going to try and get that in to update 1. The split-screen 2 players on iPhone, is done now. So mostly, it's just more levels, and iCade support. Wooo!

Things like multi-player over wifi or internet, and also, downloading and racing against friends' ghost times, are superb ideas IMHO, but a bit more involved development wise, and as it's just me on my own (for now), it all takes time.

Just want to say again, how great it is to get all the positive feedback from people. Thanks.
