I've just started the game and I've been through the house, I have a microchip and a magnifying glass, and I've located a safe behind the dining room picture. However, I thought the chip would work on either the computer or to open either the metal door, the attic door or the kitchen door, but no go. Where do I go from here? Can anyone give me a hint?

If you go to the computer behind the bookcase, go onthe second 'help txt' and there should be a number. Go to the room with the mona lisa and type in the number. I think that makes the mona lisa open

Yeah I have the microchip, it just won't work. I've tried to click on it and click on door.exe but it doesn't work.

•••Spoiler:  Press door.exe. It will ask you for microchip. Highlight the chip then press the arrow key to back up out of that scene. The chip should still be highlighted and you will be able to place it in the right hand side of the computer in the slot
