I like to be able to see my times improving. Or to know if I am slowing down or speeding up off of my pace a bit. I would also like to be able to keep a record of the distance and time it took. This app just feels like an audio book with some creative ways to get me to sprint, which only ended up happening twice in a 3.5 mile run for about 20 seconds.

On a side note... it doesn't seem like it realistically keeps track of distance covered. I ran ran over the distance determined in the upper right and it still marked mission 1 as a 5k.
That's because it's still a narrative and a game that encourages and promotes a fun and unique run. It is not a running app with stat counters and all that hizzamajizzle.

It would work for a normal bike since it uses GPS. Otherwise if you're using a stationary bike, I would guess no.

I'll wait...

What blows me away is the huge list of features they say is going to be in the next update; stat tracking, run history, caloric burn, RunKeeper, etc. It just feels like it was rushed out before it included the things that a lot of people are obviously wishing for. At 8 bucks, even AFTER a huge Kickstarter campaign that netted them $70 grand, it's hard to make this a purchase priority.

I'm fine with spending cash on a title that the developer put an obvious amount of work into, especially if I know they were footing the bill during the development process. However these guys got funding, and released an overpriced app that isn't complete. If they drop the price or release the update containing the promised fixes, then I might think about it.

Until then, I'll just stick with my boring, zombie-free, Nike+ app.

By the sound of the app it needs gps so it probably won't work on any version of iPod touch. Sucks as it sounds pretty cool but as an iPod owner I won't be getting it either.
I'll stick with my (android) mobile for tracking bike rides and runs as atleast my phone has gps.

It'll come to Android this Spring. (Whenever that is, my country doesn't have the 4 seasons. )
