I would advise you to wait for the update if you really want to pay.

Well, reading this, I think this definately counts me out for now, until I at least know how bad the consumable issue is.

Actually, do you know that for a fact (about the extra life and grenade)? It could very well be that you always start the game with an extra life + grenade. That's the way I read it, anyway...

As a community, all of us should boycott this game and IAP bs it's trying to pull. This is too much.

I thought the same way as you did but nope, you actually buy extra lifes and grenades with real money and they get used up. I assume you can get them ingame but I never did get any.

Wow this game has totally thrown a curve ball at me.

I agree all the IAP is pretty bad. The full pack is super pricey and extra lives / grenades are consumed permanently. Even getting the full pack won't give you more grenades or lives. Everything is separate and not cheap.

However the sad thing is that this game is reeeeallly good. The level, enemy, and character designs are nice. Plus the music is nice with really simple and fun gameplay.

I'm having a blast but the money spent... not so much.

btw i thought the main character was a girl but it's a boy lol. every other character is a girl though.

hmm..... about the Ammo IAPs:
The description states that you start with extra ammo every time.

Btw, in the other versions of the game you can unlock additional characters by completing the game several times.
And the ammo IAP just seems like a welcome extra for the boss fights.
So maybe one only needs the Full Story Mode IAP...

Well, I'd like some definative clarification on this. Game sounds nice and I'd be more than willing to pay the $3.99 for the story mode if it's as good as those who have played it say it is. But only if you can play the game without having to make additional IAPs.

I just have a hard time supporting a game with consumable IAPs. Just about every game that does have them is free to begin with. But I don't even bother with those, let alone pay to unlock a game and STILL have to deal with consumable IAPs.

Btw, I wouldn't waste money on extra lives.... you burn through them waaay too quick. 1 person hits you, you lose 1 life. Rather just spend money on infinite continues.

The game does have a big difficulty level, particularly with ninjas and bosses. It seems that they're trying to box you into buying IAP...

Have the Wii version. It's decent. Gets very repetitious.
