I have managed to figure out all the previous puzzles myself but am now totally stuck. I am on Merrymeet and have collected all star pieces from Sincerity but am totally stuck on what to do on Pity. I have tried to jump to catch grapple hook from the platform with the micro portal to Sincerity but just don't think it is possible and cannot reach anything else. Help!

•••Spoiler: From Sincerity, BOUNCE STRAIGHT UP into the Microportal. It's hard. Again, I apologise. I was clearly in a very evil mood when I made segments of this game.

•••Spoiler: Change the controls to the joypad. Lay the iPad down on a flat surface like a table. Use the joypad to run to the end of the platform and tap in the upper side of the screen to jump. I don't know why the position of the iPad would help, but when I did this, it worked first time. Hope it works for you! |

I just got done with my second playthrough... Decided to go through it again after the update with the high quality music, and... THANK YOU! Definitely was more immersive this time around. I couldn't put the game down, and finished it in one playthrough.
Really, Incoboto has got to be my favorite game of the year so far... It's such a fantastically well written, gorgeous, immersive game that grabs you, and makes its mark. |

Bought the game, beat it several hours later, really enjoyed it. Reminded me of Knytt more than anything else. A few points ot feedback:
- Like others, I wasn't big on the control scheme. It's difficult to precisely position yourself without jumping since tapping briefly will make you jump as well as move. A jump button would've been nice on the gamepad, even if it'd mean you'd have to use two hands sometimes. - The puzzles were generally really well-done and the hints were nice, if I have any complaint it's that sometimes it was unclear what switch was controlling what. That you'd have to just try random things to see if one of them takes down a forcefield, etc. - In general, I think a lot of iOS indie games are too long, but this one was a bit on the short side. It felt like it should have been 33-50% longer... like instead of rapidly collecting 30 starpieces at the end, they should've all been in full levels too. - Don't really feel like I understood the story very well, but there's probably no need for details here. - I found all the starcharts without trouble, but... no reward?? Sad. Also, it seems like there should be a way to check on the galactic map or something whether you've acquired all the starpiece/charts in that level. Anyways, this is definitely one of my favorite iOS titles that I've played (and actually stuck with to beat!) in recent months. Bravo. |
