Reward for endless mode is laughably low, despite how FUN the mode is. Let's just say that it's much more profitable to replay latter classic levels than do well in an endless round.

Btw just sayin, this is one game where reasonably priced IAP is more beneficial than not. The upgrade and feed feature are so ADDICTING and... yeah.

We do support ipod touch 4, do you mean ipod touch 3 ?

These will be definitely taken into account...

Well about IAP, we really want our customers to pay the game once, and once for all! To be honest, we dont like those games which are FREE but charge A LOT of real money in game. In fact we may spend MUCH MORE money on that "free" app than a "paid" app, especially when it's very hard or even impossible to beat if we don't purchase those IAPs.
Anyway it's only from my point of view of course...

Oh I meant the app. Like, playing your own music in the game. Sorry for the confusion

I would love to throw more $$$ your way but I can't purchase the game twice so, I'm really out of options unless you release new modes and charge $$$ for them.
Also, I know I'm probably a minority here, but I just want to upgrade my spells to level 9 ASAP so IAP automatically comes to mind as a shortcut . Definitely not necessary, as the game pays you pretty well.

We need more feed backs before we can make a decision. Last time some guy said that he hated IAP and would throw it away like a hot rock...

Well I'm up to the 33rd level now, unlocked all skill slots and maxed my stream + chain lightning skills. Even I can see that there won't be much need for intensive level replays to unlock everything.

A one dollar 'unlock all skill slots + skills + a load of cash' IAP hidden neatly inside an option screen could work. Also, reinforce the point that the player can quickly unlock + fully upgrade every skill and that the button primarily serves as a 'Thank You' donation (or downright say that by thanking the developers you will thank the player back by giving them the above benefits).

Btw maxed chain lightning is powerful, and comparable to using a steam attack on all but a tightly bunched group .

About the game difficulty, we discussed it many times. Finally we significantly reduce it and make sure that most players can beat the levels easily. Coins rewarded are enough to unlock the skills and skill slots. Max the most useful powers and get high scores in survival mode and time mode.

Do you think it is too easy?

Default Game Impressions

Ok, after some time with this game, got to say... I LOVE IT! I see why now there is no "keeping the selected power option" this adds to the strategy of the game and it makes sense.
First off, love killing zombies, and get to play the all mighty one to boot isn't a bad idea. Graphics - love em, sound - love it, gameplay - simple but challenging. I can honestly recommend the game to anyone and more so to zombie killers.
Great job Devs and looking forward to more content, btw you guys are on my "love list" of Devs!

I agree with this 100%!

Btw, Checkpoint Games, have you guys sent codes to iOS review sites for them to review Zombie Purge? If you haven't, I highly suggest doing this to boost the publicity on this game and therefore, getting more people to buy this game.

Ignore that kind of childish threat; the number of people who would take advantage of optional IAP (important: "mandatory" IAP doesn't go down well, and is a bit of a rigged game) is greater than the number who would "throw away" a game because of its presence, regardless of what a vocal minority might want you to believe.

As long as people in the iOS gaming environment refuse to buy in for more than a dollar or two, and most developers are only breaking even on their apps (and often actually losing money), you have every right to find alternative revenue sources and ignore those trying to hold you and your work to ransom.

I don't mind a game being too difficult, especially if there is a grading system where perfect completion will logically demand more skillful play.

However, the problem is drawing a fine line between challenging, and being cheap, the latter leading into frustration.

There's no need to significantly reduce the level difficulty, as it's easy (for me at least) to pass the levels with 1 or borderline 2 stars. But the thing is, some cheap enemy spawn spots make getting perfect score a challenge of memorization then skill.

Here's an example of either:
Challenging: Pack of loosely spawned enemies outside the radius of max level lava skill.
Cheap: A very small group (1-3) of zombies spawned seconds near a building.

Please don't overuse the first example though. Strongwind skill's cooldown isn't exactly short .
