iCopter 3D (Temporarily FREE!)
Hi, I am not the developer, but I just spotted this app go down in price. I was reluctant to buy it, but seeing as it is now free, I thought I'd try it.

I wasn't expecting much - the basic graphics and the basic, default SDK buttons aren't usually a good sign. However, I was pleasantly suprised by this game, it is actually pretty good.
The framerate is fine, the gameplay is very smooth.
The graphics are ok, the cave environment is pretty good but the helicopter model isn't so good, but that doesn't really matter.
I haven't really noticed much sound, but there is an nice, creepy 'cave-like' sound track in the background.
The gameplay is very similar to iCopter, but only in 3D (hence the name). You travel at a fixed speed through a cave like environment and can change your altitude with the arrows on the right side of the screen. Turning left and right is controlled using the accelerometer, which works well. The concept is simple - fly through the cave, weaving in and out of gaps and try to survive as long as you can, while the speed increases. There is a practice mode which makes your copter invincible - you can't crash. And then the game mode where you end the game when you crash and your score is recorded in the high scores menu.
To sum it up, I'd say this is an excellent game that suprised me. I would reccommend getting it now as it is currently on sale - for free and it could go back to being paid sometime.
My screenshots (sorry about the volume change icon, lol):
