I agree with acr having a lot of problems when it first came out. It has improved a ton for me with the last couple updates and I very rarely have any problems now. I found on the unofficial forums that the ubi developers are very helpful. They seem to be supporting acr better then you could expect with not being a major title. I have played all the tcg/ccg card games on iOS and this is by far the best IMO.

Really enjoying this, just finished the story, bought myself about £4 worth of credits and now am still enjoying myself getting my ass kicked by both the challenges and it would seem the vast majority of the online players. Ho hum, still a good game.

The game just crashed upon victory, just before the rewards screen, costing me both the level up cards, and the animus credits. That's really catastrophic game design, one of the worst examples I've seen. A programmer and game designer must be pretty thick to design a game to check off a non-repeatable mission as finished BEFORE the rewards are actually handed out.

Game design of this kind makes me think twice before investing into a title. Which is a shame, as I've played few games, iOS or otherwise, this innovative and polished.

Figures they want to make some money off the title But yeah, should the game work well from now on (see the first part of this post), without a single shenanigan costing me cards or credits, I would be glad to invest into the game in order to be competitive and assassinate other people online with paper cards.

yeah, this game has some bugs and slowdowns do not help either. but it is quite fun game with good game balance and it something new, not just another copy of mtg or wow. the problem with the cost of assassin boosters is not the price actually. i mean it is clear that they want make some money too. but it's just like if wizards would make some edition more expensive because there are some powerful cards in it. but the amount of credits you can win per day is very good so you can get all templar cards basically for free i would say.

I like this game are really just want to get on with playing it seamlessly but man are there some bugs. I just tried around 20 times to find a match online and got kicked back to the main menu every time. So I figured I'll just go back to campaign mode and earn some currency....nope, "can't connect to ubi servers". This and the constant hanging at various menus is just so annoying.

It would be really bad if you guys aren't enjoying the game due to some fixable glitch, I personally have my own share of crashes, but nothing catastrophic lately... It would also be good to make sure your connection is performing to a good spec/speed, latency is especially important.

See some of the connectivity questions that get raised in our FAQ: http://acreedrecollection.proboards....lay&thread=438

Eev what you say is very true, after looking at these prices vs mtg prices, I actually think that they've made Templar packs cheaper to let more people experience the game. And as for assassin cards being "better", I think it's not as clear cut as that - there are plenty of assassin craps too, but overall I think you'll find that they fulfill different roles, and to play truly effectively you'll need cards from both sides of the divide, minus one or two decks that are exceptions.

Hmm, good ta know. Would you advise me to just spend all winnings (both from single player and online matches) assuming the bugs and crashes actually let me earn any and buy packs (see below) on templar packs, until I own all cards? (And then perhaps work long and hard for Assassin and mixed packs.)

Speaking of which, in addition to this glitch, which cost me a level up and credits yesterday, I just bought a Templar pack only to have it disappear completely, no cards added to my Memories/Sequence, and the credits lost

For now, I would advise those who would ill like to loose a few dollars on bugs to stay well clear of Recollection. I'll keep playing, as the game has got me hocked, but I'm basically making NO progress, as level ups and credits won from games disappear, and packs bought with credits also go missing. I'm not quite sure, but I imagine it might soon start to become hard to progress through the single player campaign, as my deck never evolves, which in turns leads to no wins and no additional cards and credits, basically forcing me to spend real money to work around the glitches.

Well, the game is clearly worth quite a few dollars, so perhaps that is only just and fair

Ayjona, if you have a look at the link posted by Tuism just now, you'll see a section that says that your packs aren't disappearing once purchased, they're just going straight to your library. It's just that you may not notice because maybe you only got one more unique card and the rest were duplicates. So just keep an eye on what you have to test this if it happens again.
I went through this last night also, and I THINK my cards just went straight into y library. Still...annoying issues.

Thanks for the link Tuism.
Ayjona, I hope this has really been what's happening for you rather than losing packs.

@Talbs Again, please check your connection to the internet - a bad connection can cause problems, I play on 3G, and I used to encounter a bunch of problems until I really did some tests and realised that my reception was TERRIBLE. So I did some more searching and found a spot for my 3G modem to operate optimally. Since then I haven't had so much as a hitch in months - minus some in-game crashes which is definitely annoying but not credit-robbing.

Also I can't guarantee that that is what is happening, but I've had the same experience myself and after testing, that was definitely what happened to me, and several other players have also confirmed it. If there is indeed a problem it's likely new and should be reported.

@Ayjona please check out our beginners' guide which answers your questions about Templar and Assassin packs in detail, and a loooot more

To spend or not to spend is really your own prerogative. I think it's a great game to toss some money at, as opposed to the paper-back MtG, and considering the amount people throw at THAT, this is a drop in the ocean for something rather a lot more practical and entertaining :P But that's just my opinion

@Ayjona
there are some powerful cards in templar edition so you can get good decks, something like agro, ramp style or site decks. i mean few assassin boosters you can get for playing story and challenges are not going to change a lot of stuff.
