I go to Wiimote, turn Bluetooth on, press 1 and 2 on the wiimote, it gets recognized and becomes the controller 1 (or wiimote 0 in ifba), I then go into Mapping Wiimote 0 (Wiimote 1 will say no wiimote detected), and then I have the list of keys, if I press any key it will say

I press all buttons but none will get recognized, I have to press cancel to get out of the menu box, however the wiimote will work fine in game with the defalt controls.

My problem is I'm using a Neo Geo stick Wii and so for playing Altered Beast for example kick is 1 2 is jump and 4 is punch something like that and it's hard to play.

I tried with just the wiimote, and the wiimote classic but none of these are able to map the keys. I tried turning off and on the ipad to restart but still can't map buttons.

Were you able to find why wiimote button mapping desn't work on 4.3.3 iPad 2?

I love this emu but without a proper controller I haven't played enough of it yet.

Is there a good reason why your ipad2 is still on 4.3.3?

What's the advantage of ios5 for emus? I don't do much else on it anymore to be quite frank.

Is it possible to update from 4.3.3. to 5.1 directly or does it require installing the update through iTunes and then jailbreaking again?

Well, the only advantage would be that you wouldn't be having your controller issues as I don't have your issues on my ipad2 (5.0.1).

I'm sure it is possible to locate a trustworthy ipsw of 5.0.1 to update then jailbreak but I honestly wouldn't know where to look or begin with that.

Maybe ask in the "jailbreak questions" thread.

I dont think it's possible to go from 4.3.3 to 5.0.1 at the moment even of the shsh blobs are saved for 5.0 and above. The iPad 1 can be jailbroken on 5.1 but it's tethered.

yes, it's fixed in my current dev version. Basically a bug of iOS 4.3 which does not trigger some standard function when displaying a window.
I implemented a workaround to bypass the issue.
