Pretty big update in .22, .23 not so much from 22. Many variables at play here could be tough to isolate all the issues.

I've been out so haven't tested a lot but first thought on cps3 issue was ini files or launch data created by older version of ifba then newer version trying to run it...I dunnno but cleaning out all the emu files created upon launching a title and relaunching fresh may solve it? I'm nit sure how the cydia update handles the upgrade (cleaning out old files, etc)
Why only some cps3 had the bug? Ini is not the problem in my opinion, the other games work well!

It's strange, you are the only who can run jojo! I tried every clone and it's not working! The romset is correct!
Warzard Red Earth, Street fighter 3 newgeneration and sf3 third strike runs! Sf3 giant impact and jojo black screen!

YOYOFR IS MY HERO. This emu is absolutely win, greatest thing since the first time I launched snes9x ex and md.emu.

Seriously I can't say how awesome this is.

Intense testing (and gaming) will begin soon.

Geez even the crt mode rocks!

To the very left of the screen there is a color shift between about 1/10th of the screen and the rest with the crt mode maybe it needs to be checked out to be evened out.

So far this emu is insane, it crashes here and there but for a ver. 0.3 really really great.

I just tried and it worked for me too. Keep in mind that with the update from 0.2.97.21 to 0.2.97.23 that jojo is one of the ROM sets that changed. I'm wondering if iFBA is incorrectly reporting that the ROM set is correct.

Try getting the DAT from the latest PC version of FBA and using that to check your ROMs.

After testing some 70+ CPS games (all original not clones) here's what I came up with that wasn't working:

Captain Commando 911202 world - Crashes
Warriors of fate 921031 etc (world) - Blank screen no audio no video
The king of dragons 910805 etc (world) - No video (blank screen with sound)
Forgotten Worlds (world) - No video (blank screen with sound)
Street fighter ii' champion edition 920513 etc (world) - Blank screen no audio no video
Megaman the power battle 961006 USA - Crashes
Hyper street fighter ii anniversary edition 040202 USA - Blank screen no audio no video
Jojo's bizarre adventure 990927 Japan - Blank screen no audio no video
Jojo's venture 990128 USA - Blank screen no audio no video

I especially hope Captain Commando and King of Dragons gets fixed.

Not bad considering everything else runs wonderfully well.
I didn't list Street Fighter III 2nd since it listed above as not running on this ver.

Well, for all of these there are no good dumps known. It's not an iFBA issue, there's simply not a good copy in existence. You must use one of the clones to play any of the above. if you use Romcenter to check your ROMS it will show an "X" next to the ROMS. That indicates known bad dumps.

Both of these work for me. The ROMS required are different now that iFBA has been updated to the latest FBA core. Going off what others have said, I think iFBA is incorrectly reporting the ROM as fine when it's actually not... maybe it's just looking at file names first and reporting OK, but then failing a CRC check as it loads? Just a guess. Whatever the reason, I'm guessing you have out-of-date ROMS.

Both of these work for me too. I don't recall if they too were recently updated, but that would be my guess.
