The New iPad Retina Display Game Thread!

i hate cordy on the new ipad.
It has a very low framerate and i dont see alot of those retina improvements.

At least you could start it. I tried it once more:

Deleted the app from multitasking bar, rebooted 2012 iPad 3 (64 GB WiFi+LTE, never jailbroken, not ONE problem until now), startet the app once more, then comes (after two dev's/publisher screens, one animated) a rather small and illustrated "info screen" with the message "4 FREE LEVELS. We're pleased to present the first 4 levels of Cordy for FREE! If you enjoy them…" with a "Continue"-button. When I tap this button the game exits to homescreen.

It is possibly a bug caused by updating from a specific previous version, or having last closed the app in a particular mode or something before updating.

If the dev is reading this, did you change the naming of any UserDefaults? As a dev myself this can be a real gotcha.

Deleting the app and reinstalling will fix it if this is the case.

On The Wind was recently released and runs at the full retina resolution at a perfect 60fps. It got appAdvice's app of the week, and is currently nominated for the TouchArcade forum game of the week.

Maybe they can't. This is why experienced (tA) vBulletin board users reply with one or more placeholder postings right after their OP when they can guess that it will become longer.

Solution so far: Just continue in a new posting in the thread and make a "continues here" link in the OP (that leads to the new follow-up posting) below the list. Better than nothing… It's a great list!

You can also continue in your next post. Slewis' post is short, so should not be a big detractor. Just put a continued note at the bottom of your first post. I appreciate all the work. Thanks!
