The timing at when you press turbo matters, as much as the angle of your car does.

Try to experiment pressing turbo before you reach the ramp's edge, right on the ramp's edge and right after you leave the ramp.

Also, your car changes it's inital angle if you have forward roll or backroll held.

Take note that you can hold either forward or backroll, and let go near the end of the ramp affects jump height and speed as well.

Im only giving you these hints because im sure they will help you in later stages as well.
