I took the dive after days of pondering. pretty happy.
Can someone explain how supression works in mission 2? I supress the troops in the rocks, but my troops always die when they exit their carrier. |

Sweet! That game looks cool. I took the plunge and bought battle academy after weeks of deliberation! Let's see how it goes! |

i don't mean to hate, just offering my personal opinion, and we all know what those are worth
...this is a genre i have passing interest in (i.e. generally don't buy, unless the game is obviously well made or on a topic i care about). this is obviously a well made game, and it deals with WW2, a subject i am quite interested in. while i wouldn't waste even a buck on the various command and conquer remakes that are stinking up the app store, i would pay a good amount more for something like this, but nowhere near $20 + $30, especially since its merely a port (albeit a well made one, for a change). RPG's are another genre i have slightly more interest in, and while i wouldn't give square enix any money for their overpriced junk, i have bought some of their ports (classic FF1/FF2, for nostalgia's sake). on topic, baldur's gate (1 initially, and 2 a short while later) an enhanced edition, will be coming out 'soon', and the devs said most definitely no more than $10 (perhaps with some IAP for expansions?, still, @$10, expansions wouldn't also be $10). i guess my convoluted and indirect point is that i would feel pretty insulted if after buying baldur's gate 1 & 2 back in the days (@full retail price), the devs came around today and asked me to support them further by telling me to pay (nearly, in this case) the same price for a port. that's just me though, others see it slightly differently of course, and see it as supporting the developer, so they could give them more ports of games they already bought ages ago, and some new expansions too of course. don't know, but i'd feel like a cow that's being milked... but i do appreciate the other aspect of this situation, if i was a developer/small team who loved the genre they produced in, had a loyal following, and could keep the price up there, keep the loyal customers, AND filter out the whiny free/0.99 kiddies who get their appmoney from parents, AND be happy with an good income from their toils, even if not necessarily filthy rich.... i'd probably do it too. but i would throw my loyal supporters a nice bone every once in a while to say 'thanks for making it possible'
