It took quite a while until it started to sync with icloud. (about 1-2days) now is is pretty good and synced.

iCloud definitely works with this game, although I was skeptical at first since I couldn't find anything under Settings - iCloud - Storage & Backup - Manage Storage. They are syncing the game's plist file instead of some saved game binary.

The Mustang is awesome. Kicked a lot of ass with it. Heck, it reminds me of X-wing vs TIE Fighter and the likes where you fire lasers more than missiles.

Question: anyone managed to "frag 10 enemies in less than 2 minutes"? I tried using the Mustang against dumb AI, but couldn't do it fast enough. Any tips on which aircraft to use? Thanks.

Achievements and leaderboard positions show up the same on gamecenter on both so some data is going through.
iPhone is not jailbroken but iPad is. But all installations are legitimate, no cracked apps or cracked app store installed and the only Cydia installations are sbsettings, action menus and remove background which wouldn't (probably) affect iCloud saves.
Anyway, the planes are not unlocked on the iPhone and both are connecting over the same wifi most of the time.
Had a similar problem with a couple of other games and iCloud so I suspect it's a lot of traffic on the apple servers that's the problem because iCloud worked with them sometimes.

Just to be clear though, just because iCloud isn't working for me, it has in no way decreased my enjoyment of the game whatsoever.
The game is still huge fun and the graphics still impress every time I play.
It's not a direct criticism of the game in any way and I'm very impressed by the effort the developer has put in to bring a game of this calibre to an iPhone.
I just wanted to give the developer as much info as possible as to a possible problem on the server side.

I reinstalled it on my iPhone and now the planes and dogfight missions are synced from the iPad but singleplayer (campain) missions are not. Very strange.

Updated iOS to 5.1 on ipad, deleted from both devices, redownloaded from iTunes on each device, reinstalled.
Went to 62 on dogfights on iPad, had only meant to unlock a couple of planes, but what can you do, when you start playing it, its hard to put it down.
Left it for a while and went to check it on the iPhone and it still won't sync planes, dogfights or career.
Weirdly achievements and leaderboards from within the app, not the gamecenter listings, are all the same.
Had a similar problem wit M.U.S.E and IB2 in the beginning but they seemed to iron out after time.
Weird one though. Software just seems to want to go off and do its own thing sometimes.

Wait two three days and maybe then it is working. It needed some time to sync my devices, now it is ok.
