Downloaded the game out of good faith and willing to give the company another chance. I do have to be grateful to Triniti for being responsive to customers though.

*Hands down to the devs, IAP weapons can now be bought with in-game currency at #crystal x 10k. The expensive weapons remain expensive but this move does open an avenue for players who wish to put in the hard work for the weapons.
Guess this game is a keeper now .

How about keeping IAP items separate from the non-IAP items (in future games)? So the IAP items are not more powerful than their non-IAP counterparts per se, but instead have defining unique selling features that improve on the functionality of their base design?
Eg. don't make an IAP rocket launcher with better damage, but one with marginally better damage and a homing feature or splinter mines upon explosion?

Open app, eager to play new stage.
Sees 10,000 gold required.

... Nothing to do here. Deleted.

Hey Triniti,

This isn't by chance Brian whom I was talking to last month is it? Just curious.

First of all, I really appreciate the feedback you guys give. I post a comment on here and you guys come in a day or two later and respond. Keep it up, it goes a long way with players.

You guys dropping prices for the weapons (this would be huge, they are expensive) and altering (in any way that is more favorable to accessibility) the tCrystal 'barrier' (as I like to refer to it ) is absolutely, without a doubt, the wisest and most respectable move you could make toward your games, PERIOD. I'm an avid player of Double Shot and, to this day, most of the weapons available only through tCrystals I have not gotten, simply for the fact I refuse to pay for something within the game (especially at the current prices). But at least with Double Shot there are some ways to achieve tCrystals. With Last Stand/Sniper, I haven't seen any way to achieve them through the gameplay. IAP's are perfectly fine when they aren't used as a catch 22--you can have more fun in this game, but you have to buy these weapons. They're perfectly fine when they're available as a choice, not as a tease.

If you have indeed made the weapons in Last Stand accessible through tCoins, I sincerely applaud this move and I am excited to be able to actually work my way through the game to be able to achieve them. Awesome.

In terms of you guys making money... Well, duh! I'm sure IAP's are a great way to do this. I don't think the issue is whether or not you should be getting paid for your efforts, only with how. But let me tell you something... I would much rather you put out a free version (instead of the WHOLE game for free that includes advertisements), let me get a feel for whether I like it or not and let me pay a dollar or two more for the entire game, without the IAP's. In-game IAP's (when forced) and in-game advertisements are just ugly

Blah Blah Blah, I'm sure you've heard this all before, but I think you guys are heading in the right direction. Last Stand (while not the most original title) is your most polished effort yet. It is well done, fun to play and has lots of room for expansion.

Keep in Touch!

Gyroscope aiming please! Touch controls are a tad inaccurate for me.

Also, can we expect an update soon that will alter the tCrystals/tCoins?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Lowering the "tCrystal barrier" is on our minds too, and we're glad that players are starting to notice the difference.

We've been testing using Lite versions (DevilDark Lite is in the App Store now) and playing with different ad placements too. We're even considering adding an option to disable ads in some of our free games. Your input will definitely be of use as we continue exploring better ways to deliver high quality gaming to both free and paid users.

We did testing with gyroscope aiming in earlier versions and it was extremely difficult to manage because of the size of the stage and sheer number of zombies. The frantic pace and swarms of zombies made it less practical than in "one shot one kill" type sniper games like iSniper 3D. Problems integrating Gyroscope aiming would be exacerbated even further in the sprawling Crimson Springs helicopter stage.

Have you found any specific problems with the touch controls in Call of Mini: Sniper, or is this just a matter of personal preference?

It's a combination of both. I find gyro to be superior to touch because it's more accurate and responsive. Btw, Gameloft shooter players will tell you how great gyro is (I can imagine there's helicopter stages somewhere in those games too, and that gyro won't cause problems).
An annoyance with touch is that very small movements, like one millimeter slides will always result in a small 'jump' of the reticule.

Can't the gryo option be an addition to touch controls? Like MC3 or NOVA< the main movement is done by touch, and you can then fine tune your movements via gyro?

I only registered to this site to post in this thread.

First of all I want to say that you guys have really outdone yourselves with Call of Mini: Sniper. I have been playing it for hours on end ever since downloading it this morning simply because killing zombies is one of my favorite pastimes. The gameplay is fantastic and close-ups of the NPCs are incredibly detailed. Weapon response and movement are fluid and smooth. And overall the game is just one of my favorite app to play on my iPad 2.

My only complaint is that the munition prices are ridiculously expensive. I don't want to play for hours on end doing the same thing over and over again until I get enough for a purchase. Please lower the prices for the munitions so the game wouldn't feel so repetitive and confined.

Keep up the great work TRINITIgames! You guys rock!

I'll pass on your ideas and let the developers know there's some demand for gyro aiming! Hopefully they'll be able to find time to revisit the idea.

Other readers, feel free to speak up if you want to see gyro controls too! We have limited resources, so we always try to spend time working on things that will benefit the most players. The more demand there is for a new feature, the easier it is to justify reallocating resources to work on it.

Thanks for the kind words! We're working on refining the pacing of progress and equipment upgrades for all our games and the feedback is a big help.
