Apple sadly opened a can of worms with the possibility of IAP. I bet it won´t take long till we have the same scenario on the Mac App Store too.

In my opinion they should limit it to one time purchases, but this would render out all this Farmville Clones.

You are probably right, but I really do not see why people are so upset about it? You do NOT "need" them to three star every level.

I´m not upset, but I think people are angry (Angry People? no pun intended ) because the Eagle IAP is basically shoved in their faces. The "0/30 Feathers" display is pretty prominent if you ask me.

Some people are completists, Rovio knows that and takes advantage of it. To really feel like having beaten the game, those people need to have all of the feathers. They want to know what happens if they complete with 30/30 feathers, heck I´m teased to know too.

To me it´s just a bad decision, as the "Space Eagle" would have been a cool one time purchase. The game itself is really worth a play, no doubt.

I don't like angry birds, i feel that It isn't interesting and challenging.
I don't know why so many players like it???

I really enjoy the game but have to agree that the pay model for the Eagle is disappointing. I hope they change it to a one time purchase. I don't mind paying for additional level packs and modes unless the core content is really skimpy, but I'm sure they will have plenty of free levels because they always do. I was surprised to see more levels added in the original right before Space came out. It is sad to see companies that have been so successful in the appstore taking advantage of that by trying to bleed their fans in later releases. I'm sure that this cost a lot more, especially in promotion, but I don't see them struggling to pull a profit out of it.

Angrybirds is my most favorite iphone game! This the best game and lot of entertaining too!

Ditto! I have been playing this for hours today trying to 3-star all the levels, and even though it might be really hard at parts, it is most certainly possible to beat all the levels without the use of ANY Space Eagles! I have at least one star on every single level (including the Danger Zone). It is possible, just keep trying new tactics and ideas, and eventually you'll get it! This one is one of the best games I have played it a very long time! Great job Rovio!

It should be noted that it is not possible to get three stars if you use a space eagle.
