GREE platform of course is supported on both Android and iOS devices.

Quote:
As reported earlier, Level-5 will be releasing games based off Inazuma Eleven, Little Battler eXperience and Ni no Kuni on the GREE platform. We have first screens, so take a look here.

Of the three, Level-5 shared details on the Ni no Kuni game. Players find themselves in the world of Ni no Kuni. They team up with three Imagine creatures (whom you'll remember from the DS and PS3 games) and explore the world, engaging in battle with other Imagine. Defeat the Imagine, and you'll be able to add them to your party. The game has over 200 Imagine creatures.

You'll also be able to team up with friends for "Raid Battles" against bosses. In these battles, you'll have to make use of special combos that your Imagine team up to perform. The game has over 40 bosses.

Ni no Kuni will see release on GREE in April.
For those not in the know, Inazuma Eleven is a footie RPG with a Pokemon gotta catch-em-all signup mechanic. Little Battler is a toy mech customise and battle game and Ni no Kuni is the fantasy monster RPG devised by both Level 5 and Studio Ghibli. Of course, as evidenced by the screens being on GREE means the scope and ambition of these titles won't be the same as the original titles on DS/3DS/PSP.

I dream of a Vita port of Ni No Kuni. Since that is unlikely to happen,
I guess I'll have to make do with a smaller iOS version (which actually sounds pretty cool).

The big question is, of course, whether it will get localized...

I just wonder that this announcement hasn't caused a major uproar and tons of excitement...

Ni No Kuni - heck! Greatest news in a while!!!

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

Awesome, I'm eagerly awaiting Ni No Kuni for PS3, I'd love to see a port of the DS version...but maybe I'm missing something, what's GREE?
