Quantasm (Ovine by Design) - Universal App

Quantasm

Our second game for iOS (Universal) is Quantasm, an glow-y arena shooter where you defend your ship from the centre and rotate to aim your gun / laser to destroy the various attackers that approach from the corners of the arena.

Each level has a different arena posing their own challenges and a hoard of enemy ships with unique attack patterns.

The key to high scores are the bonus multipliers achieved in a number of ways, the simplest are Cocky bonuses when you let the enemies get close but there are more to discover. Bonus multipliers will allow you to get scores into the millions.

Hope you enjoy the game, please let us know what you think.

I like the style and the mechanics. This could be a fun little game with proper controls. There is now way I want to play a game like this blocking my view half the time while aiming. Just add a virtual pad please.

Also some simple chiptune would do wonders (heck even the trailer has music).

Keeping this on my device in the hope of an update.

Loving the graphics from the videos, and hopeful for control options in the future.

The next version will have a joystick option (so you can keep your fingers clear of the action) and also sorting out the missing music

We have updated the controls to use a 'floating joystick' - out to the testers as we speak.

We also have a soundtrack (now we are licensed to use it!).

Thanks for the feedback!
