Yeah sorry about that I made a typo in the title - I mis spelled version and I wanted to correct it, but found I could generate new posts instead so in error I created a second thread - much sorryness!

At that point we hadn't announced the price drop just released the Lite version.

Sorry

Noticed the price drop in the "New Games" section, and, being a sucker for anything that has to do with penguins, gave the Lite a quick go and sprang for the full version.

First impressions:
*Graphics are a little jagged, but pleasant to look at, and the backgrounds are nice - the sunset is my favorite.
*The tilt controls take some time to get used to, but once mastered they're pretty realistic - and nothing beats the feeling of sliding to grab a snowflake and then executing a perfect jump to avoid going over the edge of the iceberg
*Sadly, there's no "Sound Off" option - even with the iPhone's ringer switched to Silent (I'm pretty sure it isn't because of a problem with my iPhone). This means no playing it in class when bored or no quick games in the morning while the girlfriend's still asleep.
*The cuteness factor might be a deal-breaker for some people (personally I love it, and I'm 21, but I daresay there are a few people who would disagree).

Right now, I think it's a $1.99 game at best. However, I understand that an update is in the works, and if it adds/improves at least some features - special snowflakes with bonus points; option to turn sound off; maybe add a "level map" like in Snail Mail so you don't have to start from Level 1 every time (only the score starts form 0); add the option to set accelerometer sensitivity like in Galaxy on Fire - then, with the benefit of hindsight, I say I'd happily pay the full price.

Bottom line is, the game is great fun and has a lot of potential for upgrades. I'd rate it 3.5/5 right now, 4 or 4.5/5 with some of the additions I mentioned. Good job and thanks to the developers!
