Thats good to know as I am super excited about this game and loving it but don't want to use all my codes on one device and not be able to on the others in my house.

Chalk up another "adult" enjoying the heck out of this game. You only live once!

Just wondering about the premium currency. Is there way to earn the premium currency aside from leveling up by completing missions and IAP?

I'm probably going to buy this for my kids as they love Skylanders (and I have had fun playing the console game with them too). I hope they still have those tags with the code on them. Though if those code are usuable multiple times, wouldn't it be nice if we started compiling the codes (presuming they aren't unique)?

Lol..a quick google fu turned up someone's scan of their codes..but I don't know if these codes are unique either... Maybe if you have time..do a quick search..then try to match your kids codes to the ones online? It sounds like they should be unique codes..otherwise I'm not sure how you can take your figure to different devices or to your friends consoles and still continue where you left off? But then..I don't know how all that works since this is the first time I've heard of Skylanders.

Hmm... interesting point there - does your progress transfer in this game between devices when you enter the code? If the codes are unique, they actually could do that because they could store your progress online, associated with the unique code. But I really doubt this game does that. Probably each copy of the game (on different devices) is unique, at most using iCloud to transfer game progress between devices on the same account.

My guess is that the codes aren't unique. I'll do a search and see if they match up with my kids' when I get a chance (probably not until next week, actually).

This game is surprisingly well done and fun. Has some elements of Jetpack Joyride (missions to level up) and Fruit Ninja in the gameplay. And it's nice to be able to make use of the web codes that come with the characters since the actual web game is terrible. It also works in the power up items nicely. I can see easily how the Pirate Sea's and other areas could work into it if they keep supporting it.

I own 20 Skylanders and am 34 years old. Of course any game can be enjoyed by anyone if the game is fun. The game isn't difficult for me though, I've beaten it once so far and am working through again to help my nephew level up some of his characters. All I am saying is the game was designed for children, the art style, the characterization and the difficulty all reflect this. That's all.

The iphone game has been giving me some enjoyment but I'm not a big "tap tap tap" fan.

This game is good. I'm an adult and I enjoy this game. It's like fruit ninja with cute characters to collect. I think it's a game for all ages and I'm gonna nominate this also as GOTW. Nice game!

We own the PS3 version and I was expecting this to be a quick cash in but I am really impressed with this game.
