Just got enough coins to get my first gun upgrade. Really wasn't too bad of a grind for it.
One suggestion, which you may have already thought of, is instead of increasing the number of coin drops, is to perhaps reward the player coins based on the distance they get. Not necessarily a meter = coin, but some kind of reward system. I think that would also give players an additional goal to shoot for other than the leaderboards. |

Enjoying this more than I initially thought I would. Yeah, the game really doesn't pick up until you get your first upgrade (and if you can't be assed to grind to get that first weapon, believe me when I say you're going to delete this) and if you're not aware, you can aim upwards and downwards. I guess it's a combination of the visuals and music that kept me playing for that first upgrade, and I'm racking up coins at a much better rate now, so I think the second weapon won't be too far off. Yeah, the game isn't the greatest game ever made, but it's a fun little time waster that really doesn't force you into even considering buying coins, and it's free... worth checking out for sure.

It feels great when something unexpected pops up outta nowhere and ends up being a pretty good game.
This is one of those times. This is a great game on its own. Sure it isnt perfect, but it's free and it's enjoyable. For fixes, id suggest improving jump speeds, and then a control option... an invisible vstick for aiming. That way, you can tap anywhere and slide up a little to aim up, and slide it down a bit to aim down. No need to worry where you actually tap initially. It's a pretty good game, but will need some iap or one helluva grinding to pull through. |

The invisible stick for aiming is totally coming, I just don't know if it'll make the next update. I hope to have the fix for iPads out asap.
If you play with an iCade, the stick controls the aim up and down quite nicely. I'm still not happy with the coins in the game. So the 1.1 will if nothing have better more interesting coin patterns that raise the average coins collected per run. On top of that I hope in 1.2 to introduce some cool extra things to earn coins (in game stuff like killing guys, none of this sign up for netflix crap and get coins). I'll have info on the 1.1 tonight when it hopefully is ready. |

It really all depends on how well the Lion install goes on my laptop.
![]() I pray that the retina iPad simulator doesn't bring it to a complete crawl. |

pretty cool endless runner and yeah, brings me back to the old contra days though the original contra is a much better experience in my opinion.

Very few games in this world are better than contra.
