While I generally find G5's products a tad too casual för my taste (but still really, really good in just about every way, just in casual ways ), Virtual City 1 was a deep simulation. Kinda like a Sim City for the 210th decade. I have been looking forward to the sequel, and have high hopes, in spite of the worrying price tag

It is a little concerning that this free. Hopefully it won't be like Virtual City Playground and rammed full of IAP - that would ruin it for me unfortunately

As long as EA won`t release the new upcoming Sim City Game for the newer iPad Devices this will be mostly all I will play if it comes to that Genre.

Looks like there is a full game unlock. $5 for iPhone and $7 for iPad. So no energy purchases required. The original was one of the better city simulation games. This could be tempting.
