Just a quick question: how many coins do you earn per game? I earn about 200 coins without problems, and I don't have many updates. I use Fortune Ball and the Magnet. I unlocked all the power-ups except the Shield. I upgraded at least once each ability (acceleration, etc.).

I usually earn no more than 100 per game (usually in the 80ish range).

I've upgraded Speed, Acceleration and Afterburner. And have the Snow Holder, Coin Furnace and Wind Fins. Some of these I got before I knew what was really good for you so I've been sticking with Coin Furnace, for instance, for my Trinket (don't have additional slots unlocked yet).

Been going for the Magnet but have been stuck with one gear forever (it requires 2).

As I've mentioned, I probably just am inept at the game so I shouldn't cry wolf when others don't seem to be having as much trouble.

haha..yeah remember your ONLY ever on par with people in your group the SECOND that you join it. Because I started in newcomer league...lol and during that day I spent a couple hours and became #1 in the Leader Cup for each race while the players in my group were still barely getting 1 min at best.

An exchange system for spare parts would be AWESOME though I've almost unlocked everything so it won't really affect me unless they add more trinkets or upgrades of some sort. I currently have 149 nuts, 70 bolts, and 6 gears. lol...gears have a such a low drop chance.

Also, the combo Magnet, Coin Furnace, Aviator hat, is a good combo, but not the best. I currently (as I write this) have the best score over all on every map except the mountain one...Nekcit got 16.87 by a stroke of luck I'm sure, while my best time is only 17.93 or something like that. other then that though, my time is at least 2 seconds faster than 2nd place for best over all on the other 3 lvls and I don't use that combo. ;p so keep trying new combos, I'm sure their are others that are just as good or better if you get good with them. =D

Well I guess I can't really help you out, but on a good run on the Night Cup I can net around 600 gold. Though I have everything fully maxed out.

Well, I think I just figured out a better way for me to "grind". I thought to myself, if I'm doing that bad, maybe I should go back to the Mountain Cup. And what do you know, two of the first three runs I had I got gears. After getting like 1 in 50 runs in the Forest Cup. Also am averaging more than 100 coins per run, which at least is a little better than I was doing.

So, guess I'll stick around with the newbies for a while

Yeah...till I got some pretty high lvl upgrades, I mainly did the Mountain and Forest Cup. You could try the City Cup..though if your having too much trouble with it go back to an easier one. Preferably do the Forest cup if your not to bad at it. You win more gold for placing in 1st, 2nd or 3rd compared to the Mountain cup.

Also I personally like the City cup and the Night cup, not only are they longer and provide a different experience of playing, they more of a challenge. Honestly I hope they continue to make some longer levels, maybe even longer then the Night cup, cause then it opens up SOOO many possibilities for other combinations of trinkets. Because over a long period of time the combo Magnet, Coin Furnace, and Aviator hat may not beat a combo of Smokestacks, Net, Snow Engine or something different. So the longer a level and more "obstacles", the more possibilities for "acceptable" combos their will be is the way I see it.

Hope they don't nerf too much in this next patch x.X Hopefully by "balance trinkets" they mean they will make the "worse" ones better but keep the good ones just the way they are. Cause if you nerf some of the better trinkets...I doubt I will ever beat my high score after the update...lol

They said they would adjust the price of the first level of the trinkets, not change how they work.

well they did say fix a few bugs and balance. And really what else could possibly be balanced besides trinkets? Though I guess they could mean balance how the "gear spin the wheel" thing works after every match or balance the cost of stuff..though I doubt it..but who knows. =p (except the developers)

Great game! Just started playing, but have gotten between a 1:00 and 1:10 most games. Got 49 seconds without any trinkets, not sure why the big difference from some other people. Fantastic UI/menu system, love all the upgrades. Overall very well designed and will keep my coming back everyday for a long time I'm sure.

1. The Shield says it protects against all ailments and yet I still am horribly affected by wind when I get it. Though if it isn't suppose to do that, would be nice to have that in the description. =]

2. When ever I get the Shield twice (and I know I do sometimes, because it plays that particular sound when you get it) it does not reset the time I have left to use it. IMO whenever I get a Shield twice, the newest one I get should reset the time to max.
