Lesson learned: do not join a 15 minute game unless you know all the cards by heart and can play über fast. I didn't even come close to finishing before I forfeited due to my clock running out. LOL! 30 minutse is probably doable for me, but 15 is impossible.

I think someone has asked this before so apologies but in the card gallery there are 3 locked cards (Zombie Hoard, Lisan... and Shad...) how do you unlock them?

Also when is the hand reshuffled, is it a phase or when you run out?

Zombie Hoard is unlocked, I believe, by winning the tutorial game. Or in any case it has something to do with the tutorial. I unlocked it and I did win the tutorial game. I'm not sure how to get the others. I really don't care for this approach for getting these cards. I wish they'd just give them to us. Hopefully somebody will fill us in on how to get the other ones.

Once you have them unlocked, you make them available in a game when you set it up, by tapping the Details button, then tapping the card so it highlights. If your archive cards are selected randomly, then this doesn't necessarily mean the card(s) will be in the game, just that they could be picked randomly.

I knew the board game before and finally managed to get my first 6-cards-chain through and scored 17 dmg in the following combat round.

Patience is really a virtue in this game. I prefer building up defenses first and wait 'til my opponent exhausts himself. Then it is time to strike.

The Promo Cards are all tied to achievements -

Zombie Horde for beating the Tutorial
Shadow Seven for winning a 4 to 5 player match with 5 wounds or less
Lisaveta Florescu for dealing 500 wounds

I had them unlocked before the weekend was through, none were particularly difficult.

In order to unlock the promo cards for the base set you need to beat the AI opponents in a 3 (zombie horde), 4 (shadow seven), and 5 (lisaveta florescu) player game, as far as I remember.

Cheers for the answers, know what to do now (though I'm feeling less than 5 wounds may not be the easiest, at least not the way I play!).

So anyone got any strategies yet they'd care to share? Me personally I just think I'm doing well if I get a kicker to activate!
