I got Shadow Seven offline vs AI.

All activity (online and off) count towards all the "career" achievements except for those achievements that specifically say "online".
I have all the achievements except the online ones and have only played like a dozen matches online.

So ... yeah, you can unlock all the promo cards offline.

Good to know. I was very peeved when most of the achievements required to unlock characters in the card game Bang! were based on various online achievements.

We originally had Shadow Seven tied to the "win 50 online games" achievement, but changed it because we figured there were plenty of people who wouldn't want to play 1 online game, let alone 50.

Think I've either discovered a bug or I'm getting confused (again). I've just managed to unlock Shadow Seven offline, for some reason the game seems to have now relocked Zombie Hoard. Am I doing something wrong or is this something that has happened to other people?

I tried a couple times to win a 4 player AI game with fewer than 5 wounds (by the way, is that supposed to be up to 5 wounds, or is it really less than 5 wounds??) Closest I got was 7 wounds with a tie loss. Will try more later. It's a lot harder to win with 3 opponents, let alone do so and have 4 or fewer wounds. For certain you need to make sure that a card is available that lets you exile wounds (the Dracula guy), otherwise it's near impossible, so the 2nd game I made sure to have drafting (or whatever it's called in this game) on.

Sorry, I'll fix that.

I drafted cards and made sure I had the unblockable dude which seemed to help.
You don't want him in the AI hands at all.
I didn't use the guy that exiles wounds.

For me I concentrated on building up a strong defensive front and the AI was mostly targeting itself early match.
While they pounded away on each other I built up my hand with a big combo chain to deplete the wound stack.

It may take a few tries, but it's doable.
Probably some luck involved, too.

Observation: due the complex phrase nature of this game, I find the MP takes a bit too long to complete. I would restrain myself from getting more than 1 opponent and set the clock to 3 or more day.

Finished my first online match with kitkeat earlier today and it was nail-biting. Very close fight till the end.

Best bet with games such as this is for email registration and the ability to "poke" those who fall behind. Even with auto forfeits on time constraints, it is certainly no fun to invest the time to find someone has walked away from the table perhaps because they simply forgot about the game.

Notifications, badges etc. don't always work although I must admit Playdek has been right on.
