You realize you can pull cards back in? I'm not sure about every phase, but I pull cards back in and start again all the time.

Yeah, that's what we're talking about - figuring out your optimal chain by putting out cards and then pulling them back in until you find the chain you like. The problem is (apparently - I haven't played a multiplayer game yet), opponents can see every move you make.

I was lucky and got the Chain Master achievement tonight. I was playing against a single AI opponent, and he got some early hits in between his wights and and JJ McTeague. I spent most of the game pulling Alton Hickman and Overwatch Two from my private archive, plus one or two Marcus Toth, and used them defensively. When the late game rolls around I've got a handful of wounds and a bunch of easily chainable orders. I spend two rounds doing light play and cleaning up wounds, and I end up playing a chain of 11 minions on the opponent's turn. Needless to say my attack phase comes around, I clean up the board, and the AI walks away with 28 wounds! Was pretty funny to see it all play out, and I got the achievement to boot.

Still a lot of cards to learn and not sure where some cards fit in. Tend to use more minions than actions for now. Also tend to note the colour first then what it does. And try not to use every gorram chain opportunity cause they can backfire...
Big Ghost? Scary monsters, but they are the first one to kill when in play. But I think unblockables like Hickman are worse. Note that the green AI, while can be quite strong, does not do chain very well. |

A nasty tactic I had to fall victim to!
So am I right in my simple observation that a great number of Kicker effects are impossible to acheive currently (like say needing this certain green card to link to a purple card when there aren't any green cards that link to purple)? |

Sorry to ask but, any plans to add in game chat to Nightfall? Any particular reason for Playdek to ignore this feature?

Beyond possible logistics, adding chat means the game is open to cyber stalking/bullying, etc. So it might be some sort of legalistic reasoning behind this clear feature omission for all of this time. I personally would love such a feature for games with friends if for no other reason to explain, "Sorry guys, I'll be out of wi-fi range for a few days...".
