In official communication Apple informed us that Ananga Ranga will be acceptable once iPhone OS 3.0 comes. Which means that you should not expect the app anytime before that, but as we all know, iPhone OS 3 shall come in less than a month.

cramzy, does that mean that it's true that there will be a new age rating system? As I would assume that would be nessesary for an app such as that.

Hi Thorero,

You are absolutely right.
Apple will introduce Parental Controls with iPhone OS 3, which will allow applications like Ananga Ranga in the App Store.

How comes? The app is great for just about any adult. It has really interesting poses that I doubt many would know + you get to own an app with such a great UI!

Cheers!

Best Regards,
Iliya

True, although there will be a bunch of young kids who will download this app and use it in ways you are not anticipating... just a heads up.

I hope Apple will do their part of the deal, and make sure that the apps under parental controls do not get in the hands of the people who are being controlled
