I love this game. I remember playing this on the PC years ago, then the Xbox version later down the road. Still a great game and shows why 9mm by Gameloft is a complete and utter trash of a game. Controls are fine once I changed a couple of things like tap to shoot and inverted, still not as smooth as the Xbox or PC versions, but playing this on an iPad 2 on the road is a blast.

By the way, this game is free on freemyapps.com for those looking to get it, which is how I got it. It's a legit site in which they even worked with Apple to have Apple's apps on there

Just finished. Fun ride despite already discussed control issues.

Now onto Max Payne 2 on my PC.

J'ai lu que le jeu est intégralement en français.
Peut-on avoir les voix anglaises dans les options du jeu?

Saw that on the game description: "For optimal performance, we recommend re-booting your device after downloading and closing other applications when playing Max Payne Mobile." :/

Do iPad2 players have to do so too?

It improved performance on my iPhone 4S, so I would say yes.

Not necessarily, but it's always the first thing you should try, if a game crash on startup or hangs in the intro.

It's to free the memory on your device.
iOS doesn't always do that due to the unique way multitasking works on iOS devices.

That goes for iPad 2 also.

The game conversion is quit good but there are many things missed! For example when I shoot to dollars, they don't fly like pc version. The shadow are missing and textures are inferior to pc version. Iphone4s can handle games more complex than this! Also the bullet in the sniper rifle is missing!

The textures are actually the same -- the kind of suck by today's PC standards. They also kept some of the destructible environment (for example, you can shoot up the TV sets and glass bottles). Most of the random interactivity is there, too: faucets work, toilets work, soda machines dispense cans -- which you can shoot). It should also be noted that this is the first iOS action game to use ragdoll physics for dead bodies (which looks awesome on explosions).

Not sure what you mean by "the bullet in the sniper rifle is missing." I get a bullet cam on my iPhone 4s.
