Like I said some people will not like it because of of length and a few because of gameplay...

I know gameplay is important(probly the most) but this isn't like Any other game... Which is why I feel like that along with all it's other strengths can still make it a very fresh and enjoyable game...

I dunno id say it's 25% love it and 25% don't with everyone else in the middle....I dunno just guEss

I wish it was longer...that's my only gripe, gameplay is fine maybe could use some fine tuning?

Quick heads up, the 1.01 update came out earlier today which mainly adds better performance and stability for the low-end idevices. The game should be running solidly for everyone now. Real sorry that this came out the day after it released and some older devices had problems, we really thought it was going to make it out in time for the launch on Thursday. If you were affected you have my apologies.

We'll have some announcements soon on the music score to the game, we know alot of people have been asking about it.

I have to say I really do appreciate everyone's viewpoint and feedback on the game so far! We know that for some people it can be a love it or hate it type of thing, to be honest many of my favorite games are of those kinds (Shadow of the Colossus, for instance). I think many adventure games are by definition not for everyone, since they're all so varied and take different approaches. We set out with the goal that the market would reward us for trying something a little different and unique for iOS, and it seems that is true!

As for the criticism, I assure you we hear it and we'll learn from it. We want to try and reach as many gamers as we can while delivering a unique story driven adventure. That will always be true about anything we make.

Crow has been alot of work for a 2-man indie team who are also making their own engine. Now I can finally catch up on all the games I wanted to play and haven't had time to (Inf Blade2, Incoboto, Waking Mars, Another World!). Thanks again everyone!

I will say the difficulty spike that occurs starting from the first boss in the 3rd world is preeeettty dang steep compared to the rest of the game .

I get the impression a large number of the people mewling about "you don't do anything" and "there's no challenge" likely never got out of the first world ... otherwise you'd be hearing about how "BS" the last several bosses are, and "why do I keep dying?".

It might help initial impressions if that difficulty curve were spread a little more evenly throughout.

As mentioned some checkpoints in these last couple bosses would be welcome .... or at least the option of skipping the cutscenes preceding them (if possible).

2-man team, own game engine, Universal, Retina for both iPhone & iPad and no IAPs, you say? Ermmm... I could honestly care less how the game turned out (well, sorta ); you guys earned my money. Can't wait for this to finish downloading. Hopefully I've done my part in helping you succeed on the App Store and I hope to see more titles from you in the future.

how do you change the difficulty to something other than Normal?

Just beat the game, and tried loading it, but it just went back to the credits, wasn't able to start a 'new game+' or anything like that...

Then started a new game, and wasn't able to pick a difficulty...

Do I need to unlock both endings before I can play it on hard?

I agree it's a tad bit short... but there's loads of replay value if you're a high-score chaser...

There's also quite a few achievements that will require multiple playthroughs.
