Is that an official Nintendo product? I can't imagine why a classic controller wouldn't be recognized except if this wiimote uses different internals from regular wiimotes.

Cool

OK, got that. Now then, does anybody have hard data on whether the cheap knockoffs of the Classic Controller Pro will work with jailbroken iPads (via WiiMotes which are known compatibles)? Brand-new Nintendo OEM's are nice but expensive.

Or how about the arcade joystick plug-ins... Any known not to work?

Basically anything made after October/November 2011 will not work as of now.

Wiimotes with "Wiimotion plus inside" written on the wiimote can work, if they were made before november 2011 that is (I have one white one that works).
Quick update on the new Wiimotes: Starting with version 1.4.25 of my apps, the updated Bluetooth code allows the TR model Wiimotes to connect, but you must use the red sync button near the battery for now.

Aaaaaah, this is a LANDMARK development! Alleluia, praises on high!

Just updated the BTStack a few minutes ago. I now confirm that my Classic Controller (non-Pro) connects properly to SNES9x EX via I-Con WiiMote.

EDIT: plugins via I-Con still not recognized in MAME4iOS (although working via older OEM WiiMote as usual). I guess that's due to the emulator and not the BT stack??....
