I suppose it is downloadable content in so far as it is going to be content which you have downloaded, but in answer to your question, it is, like all of our planned monthly updates to Little Labyrinths, a completely free update with a new mode, new characters, etc.

The idea was always to keep making the Little Labyrinths package better and better while responding to our player's suggestions and thoughts on the game. So you will definitely see some control and interface tweaks that were talked about in this very thread along with a bunch of new content.
