Default Game Impressions

No GameCenter, only Gameloft Live, it has 24 achievements but no leaderboards. There is a shop where you can buy new sharks (3000 coins each, a pack with all 4 for 10,000), retrys and of course coins with real money. The items doesnt seem that expensive. 80 levels and more coming soon, a mission system with 32 of them, being for grinders... and what strikes me is the level of polish here, the animation and graphics are incredible. Top notch. Now I have to check the gameplay further, but first Burger Cat!

As much as I hate Gameloft right now, I have to say that I'm impressed with this one. Maybe it's because I haven't gotten a casual puzzler in a very long time, or maybe it's the fact that other companies are showing their less-than-perfect intentions too (hello Firemint... who are we kidding, the IAPs in FC Rocket are some of the worst ever), but...

1) The IAPs (on the surface) don't appear to be offensive at all, and there are far worse examples out there.
2) Getting a "Perfect" on a level ensure you're getting as many coins as possible.
3) **** me sideways, this game's ****ing adorable. Graphics, animations, music... all top-notch.

I can really see this game doing well on the charts (and it'll probably be in the Top 10 by the end of the week) and hey, if Gameloft decide to take the casual route and churn out more games like this, I won't complain because (like I said) this is neither offensive and it's not 923486789624956489236784762 mother****ing MBs. I've supported Gameloft in the past, but for now Shark Dash is the only Gameloft title that's on my phone.

Gameloft live isn't all that bad... Leaderboards missing is though as GL live does support them.

Takes one to know one dude.

Yeah, I still don't get how I'm sitting here admiring a Gameloft game. >_> Eli was spot-on with the Saving Yelo comparison on the front-page (Clone? Perhaps :P), but the game is just put together so well, and the colors are all vibrant and shit. I dunno... it certainly isn't anything exceptional or out of the ordinary, but it's really fun.
