I'll give this one a try and see. I usually don't mind spending $1-2 on IAP's for a GOOD KRPG to help make it more playable. It's the same price as any other game anyways, so if it's quality and worth my money, I'm down.

The worst thing about gamevil rpgs is that the actual ending only occurs after new game +.
Which is kinda bullshit. |

Everyone's asking for more content post main story, and you are complaining? I think it's good replay value, motivation to play again to get a different branching path somewhere in the game. Chrono Trigger did that, and a lot of other hallmark games.

Yeah, the Tales of series has a lot of stuff that only appear in NG+, like more attack skills, more character interaction sequences, more side quests and more scenes that compliment the story and/or characters

Same 2-frame sprite animations per usual for Gamevil RPGs?

Honestly, I'm getting tired of all the newer Zenonia/Inotia/Illusia games with their primarily driven IAP or major griding issues.
And it's sad because I like KRPGs/ARPGs. I just don't have the time for endless griding or having to be mercy to possibly endless IAPs to complete a game. Yes, I know KRPGs are known for grinding, but still I'd rather pay a fair price for a balanced game that follows a good story and character progression. I've been playing mostly turned-based RPGs lately just because there's a lot more of those that aren't dependent on as much griding/IAPs (games like those by Kemco that are paid to begin with). |

in gamevil games... it's like 'oh you failed... let's try again!' and sends you back to the beginning of the game to replay it. |

Worth a check tonight.
Being free, there's probably will be a difficult curve. To be honest, I never even completed the first Illusia. Think I give up on like the third boss, some lava guy. Still, I'll give this one a go. Edit: Its now available in the Appstore. Last edited by Jxsgamer; 04-18-2012 at 10:01 PM.. |
