Some tips! (Updated)

Logging in
It's recommended to log in through Facebook if you plan to play on multiple devices. You can also just set up a username, but if you choose Facebook your data will be saved on the server for you to access on any of your devices.

Faction and Class
You can choose to play as a Sheriff or an Outlaw. The main difference is that sheriffs can own businesses and outlaws can rob them (see below). For each faction there are 3 classes. Outlaws can be Greed, Diligence or Devil. Sheriffs can be Luxurious, Righteous, or Violence. Greed/Luxurious gives you a bonus for collecting gold, Diligence/Righteous are good for questing, and Devil/Violence for duels.

Play often
Use all of the duel and action points whenever they are available, so that you can start regenerating more. You will get 1 duel and 1 action point every 5 minutes. The more often you play, the faster you will level up and the more gold you will gain.

Dueling
When dueling, do not fight against opponents that have no gold..pick the ones who have lots of gold for you to take. Also, fight opponents who are equal to or weaker than your own attack/defense skills. You don't want to take on somebody much better than you because it is more likely that you will lose. You can duel the same person multiple times. If you don't see a good matchup, you can go back and enter the duel screen again...then you will see some new opponents.

When you begin a duel, you will see targets and a red circle pops up around them - this is the current target that you are shooting at. Quickly tap your finger on the selected target to hear the gunshot and try to get critical shots. Note this doesn't really seem to improve your chance of winning, if your opponents has much better stats you will still lose, but it is a fun little mini-game.

Social Club
Add friends through the social club, having allies will help you in your duels. You can add people you know on Facebook or random users. You may find that people you don't know have added you as a friend, but this will help you. You can also view your friend's stats and equipment if you wish.

Stats
When you level up, you get points to upgrade your stats - some good choices are AP (action points) if you want to be able to do more quests, and attack/defense if you want to do better in duels. Remember to spend these points each time you level up, there is no reason to hold onto them. If you have no points to spend, then this will become the "stats" tab. Here you can reinforce your equipment to improve it, repair it if it has lost durability (from failed reinforcements), or sell it if you no longer need it.

Equipment
Buy new equipment when you can, this will increase your stats, making you better in duels. It will also allow you to perform certain quests. For example, the "Test - Shoot a Bottle" quest requires that you purchase a glove. Remember to reinforce your equipment's stats if you have enough gold.

Map and Movement
Buy a horse if you want to travel in the map, this costs movement points but they replenish over time - 1 point every 5 minutes. More expensive horses give more movement points. As you level up, you'll want to travel to different cities to access different buildings, and to hunt down and duel high ranking "Wanted" players.

Businesses/Robberies
As a sheriff, you can purchase businesses to earn a steady income over time, but you must remember to log in and regularly collect your earnings. Different businesses have different income and collection times. Less expensive ones tend to give smaller income and require more frequent collection, more expensive businesses give higher income and require less frequent collection. As an outlaw, you can perform robberies. It costs duel points to do a robbery, and if you fail you will lose health points.

Quests
Quests are one of the best ways of obtaining gold and leveling up. Some you may not be able to do until you have certain equipment. Pick one that gives good gold or xp and note how much AP each step requires. For example, "Sheriff License Acquired" is worth 100 gold/1 xp for 1 AP, while "Training for a New Sheriff" is 100 gold/5 xp for 2 AP. So repeat the "license" quest if you want gold, and the "training" quest if you want to level up faster. You can "master" the quest with one button, if you want to quickly finish it. Master all rookie quest to get access to the next level of quests.

Lotto
Another great way to get gold is to play the "lotto" game, where you get a multiplier bonus and try to match 3 cards. You can play this daily so definitely use your lotto cards. I quickly won about 330,000 gold early in the game with the lotto. (Note that you can also play for a point reward if you'd rather have that)

Gamble
You can also gamble against other players with a card game, this option is in the "refresh" menu (note to devs: my game crashed when I first tried this). Be sure to choose an opponent who is carrying gold with them. If you want to win big, you must bet a lot. Note that you can possibly lose gold if you gamble.

Refresh
There's another option in the same menu that will restore your health but it costs gold. Health restores itself 1 point every 3 minutes, so use this only if you need more health to duel and you don't want to wait.

Events
There are also events you can participate in that may earn you a lot of gold. You can enroll once per event and the rewards look pretty good - all you have to do is sign up and hope you are successful. Some events such as "War" are faction based. So whoever has the most participants - outlaws or sheriffs - will win, and if you were part of the winning faction you will receive the reward. Be sure to log in often to check for new events to enroll in.

Strongbox
When you are done playing for a while, you may want to go to the "refresh" menu and deposit your gold in the strongbox so that other players cannot take it. There will be a commission that will take at least 14% of percent of your gold, but if you are done playing for a while, it is still better to deposit it than letting other players take it from you!

Default Part One: Justlegos' Tips

Here's my updated tips. Sorry that it has to be split into two parts.

----------------------

Number One: Play the Class[/B]
While playing Bloody Western, you are competing against others constantly. In order to find success, stick with the class you'd prefer. If your goal is to make a load of money, I would recommend to pick the luxury class, do quests, and buy businesses. However, if you want to conquer the leaderboards and instill fear into every player's heart, I recommend sticking with the aggressive class and leveling up either your attacking abilities or defensive abilities. By sticking with one method of a playstyle, one can find great success.

Number Two: Stockpile
Another thing I'd recommend would to stock up on weapons, armor, and other equipment. Without this gear, you may find yourself constantly slaughtered by your enemies in duels. But by buying protection, you can ensure yourself that there is little need to worry about other players constantly assaulting you wit duels. The higher your defensive capabilities, the less likely it is that someone will decide to attack you. However, if you believe you can make successful attacks on your opponents faster than they can attack you, I'd reccomend leveling up your attack skills. However you decide to play, it is best to gain large amounts of whatever you are seeking to excel in, whether defensive points, health, or businesses.

Number Three: Get Some Buddies
When playing Bloody Western, sometimes it can begin to get lonely. In order to prevent this, I'd recommend hooking up with your Facebook friends or maybe even others playing the game. Not only will having friends play with you make the game more fun, it will also strengthen you from the threat of being pillaged by duels. If you're lucky, eventually you may be asked to join a clan or guild of people. Clans will allow you to associate with a great deal of people, while being protected from duels, and also being able to hang out with a group of people dedicated to the game. With many friends, you will find great success out in the West!

Number Four: Utilize Your Points
The key to leveling up, or gaining money effectively is to utilize one's energy and duel points. If you are close to leveling up, try and select a quest that gives you a decent amount of money and still will give you the required points to level up. By using this method, one can level up and gain a free refill of energy quickly allowing you to make even more money. The same thing goes for duels. If you are close to leveling up, why not utilize your duel points to get the little amount of experience required to level up. With close inspection, one can amass great sums of money and also level up fairly fast by carefully observing their energy levels and taking advantage of the little experience they have left. By using this strategy, one can gain quite a bit of fortune while still leveling up efficiently.

Number Five: Invest!
As one gains a steady source of income from quests and duels, you can stumble across another way to make money efficiently, investing in businesses. At first, it may not seem worth your time to spend what little money you have in your pocket. As time goes on however, if you constantly invested your money into businesses, you can find a great source of income. By simply collecting your money, you will constantly be increasing your fortune, without having to worry about checking by the hour.
Tip: When trying to save up for a goal, leave your money in the collection screen so you don't have to worry about others stealing your money, and not having to lose thousands of coins from the tax when you put it in the strongbox.
Number Six: Events!
One of the easier ways to make a load of cash is to simply participate in events. With minimal effort, you have a chance of gaining quite a bit of money. By helping your side in the war, you will increase the chances of your team (Sheriffs or Bandits) in winning the war. The more people who join however, the bigger the reward. By always participating in wars, not only are you benefiting yourself by making some extra coin, but you are also helping out your fellow teammates!

Number Seven: Gear!
A key to winning duels is always tough gear. The better the gear, the more protection you have from your enemies, and the easier it is to win duels. Even if you spend all your points into energy, you can still be fairly successful at duels if you have the right equipment for protection. I would recommend saving your money up until you can buy the most expensive equipment available for your level. It may take a while, but the extra strength if very helpful.
Tip: One way I can afford equipment at a decent rate is, I invest in businesses, so that way about every day I gain enough money to buy either more businesses or new gear. With this, you can still easily do quests and make money that way, but you have a very reliable source of income.

Default Part Two: Justlegos' Tips

(...continued)

Number Eight: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Quests
When playing Bloody Western, you may have different objectives, whether it's to level up as fast as possible, be the top dog on the leaderboards, or maybe just buy that new piece of equipment. Either way, make sure you are doing quests that will help you achieve your goal. If you are trying to level up fast, chose quests that offer more experience than energy. If you want to make money, I'd recommend picking quests that give more money than experience. I'd highly recommend doing the Bottoms Up Quest if you want to level up, and later on, once you unlock the Crisis section, do the Identifying Herbs quest for 50,000 gold per try. By finding quests that fit your needs, you can accomplish your goals extremely fast.

Number Nine: Master Your Quests!
It may seem like it will take forever to master all the quests in your section. Yes, you are right. But by mastering quests, you suddenly have loads of new quests that offer more experience, more money, and more variety! The first section of quests offers a maximum amount of gold of 2500, while the next section of quests gives a maximum of 10,000 gold! Surprisingly, the next section, Crisis, has a quest that gives 50,000 gold, and every quest gives over 10,000 gold. In the end, mastering quests will definitely help you level up and make money much faster!
Number Ten: Getting More Energy
If You are constantly running out of energy, but want to keep adding points to other skills, the best option would be to purchase decorations to wear. The first decoration, the Indian's Necklace offers 100 energy for only 10,000 gold. This is a substantial boost to new players, and will should help you level up much faster. Once you get enough, then you can buy the next one which provides 120 energy. Eventually, after a long time of leveling up, you may be able to buy Renny's Outlaw Ring which provides 1,200 energy. Although it costs a ton, the extra energy can greatly boost your performance!
Number Eleven: Use the Strongbox
If you have a large amount of money, I would recommend you put it into the strongbox if you are saving up for something large, however, if you are close to being able to afford an item, I'd recommend keeping your money out of the strongbox, and waiting a bit to try and get more money to buy it. If you refrain from using the strongbox a lot, you will save loads of money due to evading the tax. By doing this, you may find you'll be able to get the items you want much faster.
Number Twelve: The Map
After investing in numerous businesses, you may begin to notice that the price of businesses increases every time you purchase the same business. In order to combat this, you can buy a horse and then with your new travel energy, go to the map to go to new towns. When you enter a new town, you have the option to find a wanted player (which might provide a fun challenge to you) and buy new businesses. Once you buy a new business, you can leave the town and come back to it later to pick up the money. By getting a better horse, you can buy even more businesses at much lower prices.
Note: When you buy a business in a separate town, you will have to go back to the town to collect the money. When you run out of travel energy, you will have to wait for it to replenish so you can collect all the money you've made of businesses.
Number Thirteen: Fun!
While playing Bloody Western, constantly doing dangerous missions and attacking other players can eventually become tedious. One way to have a bit of fun while playing the game is to do the lottery and hope you will win. When playing the lottery (AKA lotto) the numbers are the multipliers, so if you win, the amount of money you turned over, will multiply by that amount. In order to win the lottery though, you must turn over the three cards, if they all match you win.
Another fun thing you can do is bet against other players. It seems to be quite similar to the lottery, as in order to win, you must flip over cards. It seems that they are in a random order, so it is strictly a game of chance. Hopefully taking a bit of time off from the struggles of the West will help you have an even better time while player Bloody Western!
Number Fourteen: Check Your Game!
This probably makes the most sense, but, they key to playing Bloody Western successfully is to check your game as often as you can. By doing this, you be able to level up a lot faster, duel your enemies to boost your fame, and manage your character. By coming back daily, you are putting yourself in a position that will enable to you gain experience much faster than if you'd only play once a week. If someone does not play daily however, their character will fall back and be a victim to duels.

Number Fifteen: Build a Play Schedule
I must stress this, although it may not be a game mechanic, the best way to level up in Bloody Western is to build a schedule in your day where you have specific time set aside to play the game. By doing this, you will be consistent with leveling up and dueling, allowing maximum experience, and just having more time logged into the game. I normally check Bloody Western in the mornings, before I leave, and right before dinner while I'm waiting for the food to finish cooking. By setting up a schedule, you will find quite a bit of success with Bloody Western.

Some more tips:

1. No matter which position you choose at first, you can always duel against other players in the same side.

2. There's a way to show your identification icons on the wall. You can buy them at the store. Some can be earned by accomplishing quests. Each icon has a time limit to use.

3. Quests can be started when you have the required Action Points left. So make sure to increase the Action Points first.

4. Some quests require a certain kind of equipment, such as a glove or a ride.

5. If you want to move to other parts of the West, you must own a horse. And the ride takes Movement Points to get other places. There are 9 parts in the map to be explored.

6. You can earn Experience Points by playing both Quests and Duel.

7. Each equipment has its durability. You cannot use them any more if the durability is zero. But you can repair your equipment to restore the durability.

8. Each quest has 4 stages. Only when you finish all these 4 stages, you can master it and the mastered quests can be played again. The rewards will be given when you master the quest.

9. At the store, you can buy equipment, riding horses and user icons.

10. Winning in Duel, you get more reputation points if your opponent is stronger than you. Otherwise, you get less if he is weaker than you.

11. You can always check the result of your duels, business robbery stats and events in the News.

12. If you want to add new friends more easily, you can buy the VIP code or connect the game with your Facebook account. VIP code can be purchased at the Points Shop.

13. You can restore your Health Points by using the Refresh function.

14. Once you level up, you will gain 5 skill points. These points can be attributed to Action, Duel, Health, Defence and Attack.

15. Sometimes you will lose Gold. Such as you lose in a gamble, or have a robbery from others.

16. The more participants in an event, the more you have the chance to win.

17. In the event, all participants on the winning side will receive the reward.
18. Every day you will earn a new ticket for Lotto. You can use the tickets to play.

19. There are many achievements which can be unlocked. With the unlocking of these achievements, you can gain extra Western Points. But each achievement can only be taken once.

20. You can use the Stats menu to see or change the equipment you're using. Double click to have a try.

It's my first time leave tips or guides here. :P

Registration: Better to use Facebook login to make sure your game contents can be played on various devices.

Duel: You can win in Duel even if you have lower level than the opponent, as long as your attack and defence points are higher.

Quest: Be smart to choose the quests which requires few Action Points and more Experiences to do first. It will speed up the level up and thus you can have more Action Points to do it again and again.

Items: Buy necessary items only at first.

Lotto: There will be daily lotto ticket for you. Use the tickets to have a luck to win more gold.

Refresh: Your money have the possibility to be robbed. So make sure to save them in the Strongbox in the Refresh to garantee safety.

Suggestions: Add Retina High Resolution for the New iPad. Ummmm, first maybe just a Universal update.

Add more Events.

Little things you might have missed

1)On the Quest screen click on the ! by each Quest to get a little info about the quests themselves

2)The Western News Robbery section is another great place to find lower level opponents to duel and get easy gold off of, make sure to click info to see their stats and gold amounts before Dueling

3) You don't actually need to have a gun to Duel, it's really more about Attack and Defense levels which you can increase with buying a gun, of course you look cooler with the gun in the stats section

You can play Gamble even when you have 0 Gold. But you cannot earn anything even you win. :P

I think there can be a new Loan system to be introduced into the game. Make the Gold be minus.

More tips:

1. You can gain extras with the 3 different classes. For example, the luxurious/greedy class can get 1% extra Gold when completing a quest. It takes 10 seconds less for upright/diligent class to get Action Points fulfilled.

2. Equipment you owned can be upgraded by consuming Gold.

3. It always costs more when you upgrade equipment to higher rank.

4. Join the events every day for a chance to win more Gold.

5. Action Points, Health Points, Move Points can be recharged immediately by consuming Western Points. If you are short of Western Points, you can get more by getting achievements or buy them directly via In-App-Purchase.

Week 4

More information about the game:

Events - Did you know that Events are available for 2 hours and will be available again after a 2 hours break. So if the Events ended, you can join again after 2 hours. There will be a total of 6 tries to join the Event per day. So be sure to join again to gain more Gold and Skill Points.

Gold Rush gives you Skill Points as a reward for winning the Event.
War gives you Gold as a reward for winning the Event.

So be sure to join specially the Gold Rush Event to get more Skill Points which you can use on your Action Points to take on more Quest and Gain Level and Gold Fast.

Lotto - You can get 5 Lotto Points Daily by just playing the game. Be sure to play the game daily to get a 5 Lotto Points where you can try your luck to win Gold or Skill Points. The Lotto Points doesn't add up if you're not online or didn't play the game for like 2-3 days. It will still remain as 5 Lotto Points when you logged in after 2-3 days or so. It doesn't stack up when you didn't play the game.

Western Points - Western Points are gained in numerous ways. Here are the list on how to gain them:

1. Completing an Achievements will reward you with a Western Points.
2. Mastering a Mission in a Quest will reward you with 1 Western Point.
3. Adding mktwp100 as a Friend will reward you with 100 Western Points.
4. You can also buy Western Points via an IAP.

Western Points are very helpful specially when you are in the middle chapter of the Quest. You will be needing a lot of Western Points to refill your Action Points to Master a mission in the Chaos Chapter fast. Chaos's Missions requires more Action Points than the previous Chapters. You can still either wait for your Action Points to fill-up or just use 10 Western Points to have a Full Action Points.

Suggestion:

Hope there will be a Notification when an Event is available. This way, players can easily know if an Event is available and also will remind them to play the game. Only notifications I saw was when someone Attacked you and when someone is using your money in Gamble.
