By playing Bloody Western often, I have leveled up to level 170. Although this may seem to be a good achievement, I realized many errors that I shouldn't have done in order to have a better outcome when it comes to duels. Although I can get great sums of gold fairly quickly, I cannot overcome all the duels I have lost mainly because of the fact that most of my skill points is in the energy section. Although having a large amount of energy can be helpful, it will not help you will win duels. Hopefully however, with careful planning and following a couple of guide lines, you can end up with a positive win/loss ratio for your duels!
Step One: Planning I must stress that to become a very competitive player when it comes to Bloody Western, one can't get away with constantly leveling up and putting all your points into one specific skill. In order to find success in duels you must come up with your plan of attack. A good idea is that every time you level up, you add maybe 2 points to energy and the rest to either duels or attack and defense. This will help you gain an edge over your opponents who stockpile all their points into other skills. However, by not putting all your points into attack and defense, you will still be able to level up fairly easily compared to if you had barely any energy. Step Two: Use All Your Duel Points In order to maintain a positive Win/Lose ratio, you must constantly maintain your wins by using all the duel points you have. By dueling other players on a regular basis, you will constantly be bumping up your wins, however if you stop, people will still continue to attack you, making you lose. Keep this in mind, there is only one of you to duel as many people as you can before running out of energy, however, you are constantly exposed to attack from all players. By consistently dueling you will hopefully secure and maintain a positive win/lose ratio. Step Three: Get Proper Equipment It may seem appear nice that you have just earned some gear that provides extra energy for you to level up faster, but overall, you are probably weaker than if you bought other gear that would help keep you safe from duels. Most of the time, the equipment that offers and energy boost does not provide as good stats as one that only provides a health boost. By buying the strongest equipment available to you, you are adding loads of points to your attack and defense skills. In my opinion however, it is best to have equipment with better defense than attack, as you can always find someone to duel who has a lower defense skill than you, but you cannot always protect yourself from someone who has a higher attack than your defense. Although buying your equipment may seem like a pain, it will prove to be beneficial in the long run. Step Four: Add Loads of Friends! Although you may have a ton of points allocated into attack and defense, and have the best equipment money can buy, sometimes you will still lose. This is often because the people who are attacking you have more friends added than you. When you have friends added, not only do they make the game more social, but they also provide a much need combat boost to your duels. The more friends you have, the stronger that boost is. For a guide on how to add even more friends, I'd recommend viewing another guide I made here: Google Doc Conclusion Hopefully by following these tips, and not making the same mistakes I originally made, you will be able to find success in duels and maybe even become a high ranking player on the leaderboards. By planning out your character progression, Using all the duel points you have, using the right equipment, and by adding friends, you will be able to dominate others around you! Whatever happens however, hopefully this guide has proven helpful, and will help you maintain a positive Win/Lose Ratio for your duels. With careful yet intelligent decisions, you will have success! |

Bloody Tips
![]() Pay less Gold to recover your health - When you fight on a Duel and or Rob someone, your Health will also drop by a certain amount. If you still got some Duel Points left but got almost no Health Points, you will not be able to play a Duel match or Rob someone. You can still easily refill your Health Points by going in the Refresh menu and using the Lodge. In the Lodge, you can choose from 50% Health Recovery or a Full Health Recovery. Each option cost Gold. The cost of Gold will depend on how many Gold you have on your Hand. Now, to avoid paying more Gold to recover your Health to Full, here is a great tip that will save you a lot of Gold. First, if you got a lot of Gold in your hand, deposit all your Gold in the StrongBox located in the Refresh menu. Now, withdraw 1,000 Gold in the StrongBox or you can just leave 1,000 Gold when you deposit. Now go to the Lodge. You can now see that the Gold cost is reduced to only 500 Gold for 50% Health Recovery and 1,000 Gold for a Full Health Recovery. Buy whichever you want but I still suggest for a full Health Recovery since it's pretty cheap. 500 Gold for 50% Health Recovery and 1,000 Gold for a Full Health Recovery is the lowest cost you can get for both. Just always do this method if you need to recover your Health Points to avoid paying more. ![]() Another tip to earn a lot of Notorious Points - In Duel mode, you can mostly earn 20-27 Notorious Points after each match if you win. You can mostly earn 20 Notorious Points if you Duel with the same Faction. You can earn 25-27 Notorious Points if you Duel with the opposing Faction and it will depend on the rank. To earn a lot of Notorious Points, you must first find someone who is 15 Ranks or more ahead of you. You should also check the Rank List I've posted or check m13's Rank List to see the ranks. Now, you can either choose in the Duel menu and see if there are players ranked 15 Ranks ahead of you or you can simply go to the World Ranking and add the players Ranked in there as a Friend and Duel with them by going to your Friend List and clicking on their information. This way, you can gain 55 Notorious Points each win. You must also check if the one you're Dueling with is an opposing Faction (Outlaw vs Sheriff) to gain this much Notorious Points. If not, you will only gain few Notorious Points. I'll show you an example of what I mean.. ![]() In the image above, PRINCESS is ranked Heart Breaker which is Ranked 15 Ranks higher than mine. My Rank is SNIPER as seen in the image below. ![]() ![]() After winning a Duel match with her, I gained 55 Notorious Points like in the image above. After a couple of Duel, I've gained another Rank like in the image below. ![]() ![]() Now I've tried to Duel with PRINCESS again with my new Rank which is 14 Ranks Below her and only receive 27 Notorious Points after winning like in the image below. ![]() This shows that you can only gain higher Notorious Points if you Duel with a player that is 15 Ranks higher than yours. This also goes if you Duel with a 15 Ranks Lower than yours, you will only get lesser Notorious Points. ![]() More information about the white and red cowboy icon - You can see this cowboy icon in the Friend List, World Ranking and in the Duel. The color represents their Faction. A White Cowboy Icon represent a Sheriff Faction. The Red Cowboy Icon represent the Outlaw Faction. You should pay attention to this icon if you also want to gain more Notorious Points in the Duel. ![]() More information about Friends - Ever wonder what the other number inside the bracket in your friend's status means? It is the one located in your MY STATS like in the image above. The number in the bracket means your number of Friends with the same Faction as yours. It is the total friends you have on your Friend's List with the same faction as yours. The number before the bracket is your total friends. ![]() IAP Prices drops with the latest update - Did you know that the IAP of the game dropped dramatically? The prices of the Western Points drops from $4.99 for 60 Western Points to only $0.99 for 60 Western Points. You can finally buy Western Points that will help you a lot specially if you're in the Chaos Quest Chapter like me since most of the missions in that Chapter requires a lot of Action Points and only reward you with a few Experience Points. Western Points is very helpful to complete the Quest since it fully recover you Action Points for 10 Western Points. ![]() Gaining Friends Quickly - The fastest way to gain friends without you doing anything is to buy the IAP, VIP CODE for $0.99 in the Store. Buying this IAP will put your name in the VIP List which other players can see and add like in the image below. ![]() Each player that add you as their friend will also become your friend. This is specially helpful to complete the Add Friend Achievements. (Weird that I can no longer see this Add Friend Achievement in the Achievements List since the 1.0.3 update released today.). Having lots of friends also boost your ATK Damage in the Duel. ![]() Equipment Collector - You love to collect Equipment but doesn't have enough room for it? You can buy an extra Inventory in the Store for $0.99 each. You can upgrade your inventory to 40 maximum slots for every Equipment Part. |

In Bloody Western if you play as a sheriff, you have access what could potentially be the best money maker in the game. However, in order to make the big bucks with businesses, you must make sure you are properly utilizing them. By making sure you are doing the best you can to keep your businesses in prime condition however, you are guaranteeing yourself a chance to make loads of gold!
Buying Businesses ![]() ![]() The above pictures showing the price going up. In case you didn't notice however, once you buy a business, the price will rise by about 2-5%. After buying the same businesses a couple of times, I would highly recommend moving on to other businesses, in order to evade the climbing prices. Once you run out of businesses in your town however, you will be able to move to another town and get more businesses! Moving to Another Town ![]() Have you ever wondered what the horseshoe icon was meant for? Well, it actually allows you to travel to different towns for various reasons. By traveling to a different town, you are allowing yourself to obtain larger variety of businesses available to you. With a greater variety of businesses, you will be able to buy even more without the problem of extremely high-priced businesses. As you level up, eventually you will be able to access different towns and cities. I would suggest that as you as you level up to the required level you move to that town. The reason behind this is because the higher level you are, the fewer people their are in your group. By moving to higher-level places, you are reducing the chance that people will attack your business due to the fact that their are simply less of them around to rob you. Obviously however, it is best to be secure so that way you can reduce the chance of a robbery even more, as without proper protection all the money you've spent on investing has gone to waste. Protecting Your Business Because of the constant threat of people robbing you, it is necessary to find proper protection. Without any protection at all, you will fall victim to many people stealing the gold you've earned. The best way to protect yourself is to buy strong equipment that offers a good boost in defense, and by adding points to the defense stat. By constantly adding better equipment to yourself, you are making potential robbers avoid your business compared to weaker businesses. Also, another tip to avoid constant harassment would be to move to a higher level town, as their will be less potential robbers. Collect Your Gold! Robbers will always steal your money if it's just sitting out in the open. The same concept is true in Bloody Western. If you just leave your gold sitting in the business, robbers will try to rob you. The best way to avoid this is to simply collect the money before someone comes to you. I normally check my game about every two hours so that way I know people will not steal my hard-earned gold. However, without a consistent schedule, people will steal your money. Tip: I found that an effective way to know when to check your game to avoid robbers stealing your gold would be to set a timer for when the majority of your businesses would gain gold. Once I see how long each business will take to collect the gold, I set up a timer using the default Clock app that comes with all iDevices. When the timer goes off, I check Bloody Western! In order to be consistent however, you must remember to reset the timer, otherwise all your efforts will be in vain. |

Fresh Bloody Tips
![]() ![]() Mastering The War Quest Chapter Fast - After completing the hardest Chaos Chapter in the Quest, you can finally relax and easily master the next Chapter in the Quest, The War. Missions in this Chapter have a balanced Action Points and Experience Points Reward. You will not encounter any mission in this Chapter that has more Action Points but less Experience Reward. Most mission in this Chapter gives you a little more Experience Points than the required Action Points. The Chaos Chapter was a hell. Some quest there requires a lot of Action Points but gives you less than half of the required Action Points. I've only mastered that quest by the use of Western Points which I bought for $4.99 in the Store. But this The War Chapter, I've only mastered this Chapter for less than 5 Hours straight. Now, to Master the The War Quest Chapter in less than 5 hours: ---------> ![]() First you need to do the Drinking Time: Bottom's Up! mission in the Rookie Chapter (10 Action Points = 25 Experience Points). Keep on doing this until your Experience Points and Action Points are almost the same amount like in the images above. ![]() Now go to the The War Chapter Quest and use your remaining Action Points in the mission you wish to master. If you got less than required Action Points for the mission and didn't gain a level, you can then go back again to the Drinking Time: Bottom's Up! mission in the Rookie Chapter (10 Action Points = 25 Experience Points) to level-up and recover your Action Points. Repeat this process until you've mastered all Mission in the The War Chapter Quest. This is the quickest way known to man (Lol) to master this Chapter without using any Western Points. It took me almost 5 hours to master the The War Chapter in Quest. Mastering all mission in the The War Chapter will unlock the next Chapter called Master. ![]() ![]() Master Chapter also got 12 Levels and with the same balancing of Action Points and Experience Points as the The War Chapter. Only difference is that in Master Chapter, the Action Points needed for each mission are higher than the The War missions but still reward you with the same Experience Points as the Action Points required or a little more. Mastering the missions in the Master Chapter is the same as the The War Chapter. You just need to do the same procedure I've posted above in this Chapter to master it in 5 hours. Mastering the Master Chapter will unlock the final Chapter called The End. ![]() ![]() The End Chapter also have 12 Missions but the same balancing of Action Points and Experience Points as the previous Chapter. This is the final Chapter. Just use the same procedure as what I've posted above in the The War Chapter to complete this final Chapter. The only problem in this Chapter is that some Missions in this Chapter requires you to have an A Class Equipment equipped before you can take it. So like the previous Chapter, finish the missions that you can take with your current Equipment and you will gain an Equipment class needed for the other missions. If you didn't earn any, you can do the Level-Up tricks I've posted in my previous tips to level-up and buy the required Equipment for the missions. You should also do the Fast Gold gain tip I've posted in my old post. After finishing this quest, you are now halfway done with the whole game. You can now start going for the highest Rank to become the World Most Notorious Bloody Western Player. Go and Spill Blood!! NOTE: If you didn't meet the Equipment Requirement in some mission in this Chapter, you should first take the missions you can play and it will reward you with the required Equipment level for the next or following missions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ ![]() ![]() How to get the Add Damage Bonus - You can see this Add Damage in the Duel and in your Inventory. You can gain a bonus Damage specially in the Duel based on your Weapon or Gun. The Gun is the one giving you the bonus Damage. You can check the bonus damage for each gun by selecting a Gun in the Store. You can see the + Damage and the amount of bonus per gun there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ Text and Spelling Error I've found 1 spelling error and a couple of unreadable text in the game. Check the images below for the errors. ![]() Health Pionts should be Health Points ![]() Unreadable text for a mission in the Master Quest. Last edited by iANiMeX; 05-17-2012 at 04:54 AM.. |

Thanks bro. It took me 10 hours after completing the Chaos Chapter and made a $4.99 purchase for the Western Points just to get to the final Chapter. I've mostly used the Western Points in the Chaos Chapter.

Hi, I created a large guide for Bloody Western. Because I didn't want to clog up this thread even more, I decided to make it on google docs in hope of letting people be able to view this page more easily. The link for it is here: Google Docs
