Free my apps -bah!!

I found this site about 5-6 days ago and thought it was a great idea.
I've been downloading stuff since then and saving my points as I wanted plants vs zombies hd.

Just 5 mims ago I finally got enough points and hit redeem. The app store loads and 2 secs later it tells me the redeem code is for the us only.

I'm seriously annoyed a: because of all the time and bandwidth I've wasted using this and b: because the site is now pointless for me and there's no use me using it any more.

Great shame, I thought it was a great idea. Really feel gutted

I've heard of some people setting up US iTunes accounts who don't reside in the US. Maybe you could try to create one? Then you can use those codes, Free My Apps is really nice.

I created a US account to use this service. Its not a big deal seeing as you get good free apps

They should put on every sponsor and gift page that you need a US account.

Well, they do say numerous times in the app, that it is US iTunes accounts only, so I don't know why you're complaining.

Thanks for the ideas, just tried creating a us account 3 times and each time. It didnt make it and said to contact apple support to complete the account so I guess they've stopped uk people from making us accounts. Shame. I still have my PvZ code to redeem.

As I said in the post above, I've tried several times and it will not allow me to create one. I get to the end each time and it tells me to contact apple. I guess it detects I have a uk ISP or something. Either way it's rather annoying, I only wanted to make the account to use the 1 redeem code I have.
