Dungeon Raid Weekend Sale - 99c

Get this game. If you like RPGS, puzzle games, the mechanics of spelltower, or just games, get it.

There's an ipad version in the works right? Should I not wait for that?

Get it bro. The small iPhone screen doesn't take anything away from the game. It feels really native, and plays great. (be warned, its very addictive)

Currently enjoying: CtR, AB: Space, Guitar Hero, Rock Band Reloaded, Burger Queen World, Hunters: Episode One, Batman Arkham Lockdown, Ice Race, Bar Oasis1.5, Air Gamblers: Supremacy, Mage Gauntlet, Real Racing 2, Inotia2/3, Undercroft, Pocket Warriors, Ascension, Chaos Rings

Got it the last time it was on sale, and it's perhaps the best dollar I've spent on the App Store. Where the hell is the DR2?

Someone from the thread on the other part of the forum sent an email to the developers of this game.

I don't recall everything from it, but I believe they don't plan on making a DR2. I also think they mentioned something about a few more planned updates for this version. The release on Android has probably taken a decent amount of their time.

Mention you're from TA if you send a request. This would please me.

I think I would have liked the game more if we could carry some progression between games, like one would expect in an RPG. You don't start each dungeon or battle back at level 1.

It's using the tropes of a subtype of RPG called "roguelike" where you death is permanent, so you start again after dying: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roguelike

They should just make it a Universal build, like lots of apps out there.

I have played roguelikes. It's still a boring and stale mechanic.
