Awesome. iPad support. Big screen baby. Hope the controls are solid, I'm skeptical about this knowing how fast MVC2 is.

Looks like we're on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm really glad I upgraded a month ago because now I'll be able to play this game
. Now the only question for me is what the price will be and what modes (e.g. will it have multiplayer). Pretty new to the MvC2 stuff though, but excited nonetheless.

And Volt launched at $0.99, steadily going up to $6.99. We can only guess...

I hope iPad support doesn't mean you can play it at 2x instead of full screen.

I don't mean this to sound harsh or negative, but it's about time developers focused on the "A" series of chips only (A4, A5, A5X, etc). The 3GS may only have a mildly inferior GPU to the iPhone 4, but the low RAM bottlenecks it.
While the iPad 2 only has the same 256mb of RAM, it has the dual core GPU to compensate. The iPhone 4 will be left behind soon enough also, give it another 12 months maybe less until top new releases don't support it. Hopefully the lack of 3GS support means we'll see far sharper visuals than the likes of Street Fighter 4 Volt, which is just far too jaggy on the iPhone 4. My new iPad arrives in a couple of weeks, so I'll be doing all my iOS gaming on that as opposed to my iPhone, so full screen Retina support for the new iPad would be immense. |

This is the only site that I've seen use the date of the 26th. Every other forum previewing the game mentions the 25th?
