...but its not gonna happen. Wonderboy looks more likely and as SEGA have announced they will be supporting the Iphone/Touch it could happen in the future. Sonic first though!

I would love too see Wonderboy on the iDevices, it was one of the first games I got for my, I think, 8th birthday on my SEGA Master System. Waaaaaaay back in the 80s.

So, go SEGA go SEGA

I always liked Wonder Boy, but I LOVED Wonder Boy in Monster Land.

Another game I would rather see come to the ipod over this is Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
I was playing that game when I was around 11 or 12.

I know people who grew up playing Playstation. I grew up playing Sega Master System!

I love Sega, but I am not happy with their absence from the app store, especially when they have such a huge library of great games they could be porting.
Heck, they could be doubling or tripling Gameloft's amount of releases -

Imagine the money they could be making off of a library that would require such little development effort.

The only issue I have with games like this on the ipod touch is the lack of d-pad.
It's not that I hate onscreen controls, it's that they get in the way and clutter the beauty of the game in display.
I play my ipod touch a lot, but I prefer my PSP for control on side-scroll platformers and racing games.
