I'm pretty sure it makes your shots curve towards enemies a bit faster so they don't need to be right in front of you. Basically it just makes your bullets track a bit better.

Figured it out. Maxxed quickness + adjusted sensitivity and all is good. Made it to level 46. Great game! When is joyjoy coming out?

I'm absolutely utterly in love with this. So so good... I love that both the gameplay and visual style of the game are so damn refined and fine-tuned, it's just so damn slick. None of the other shooters touch it for me.

Unlocked the start-at-wave-101 in Ballistic and loving it more and more. So polished, so refined, so no-bullshit, it's like a perfected and very mature kinda twin stick shooter. The Quake 3 Arena of iOS twin-stick shooters, if you will.

A little off topic but since it was mentioned that Inferno was your next game, I looked for the XBLIG version and can't find it. Was it pulled? Thought I'd try to get a little sneak peek.

+1 to this. I keep meaning to post game impressions, but then I end up convincing myself that I'll just play a little more instead. It's been awhile since I've had this much fun with an iOS dual-stick shooter. Ballistic is amazingly polished, and just a well-made package all around. I really like the progression system, since it allows for different builds each time you play. The extra upgrades given as rewards from the achievements kept me grinding away at them for awhile. (The only one I'm missing is the 100 bombs in a single game. Still can't figure out the best way to do that.)

Also looks like it may have been promoted to the regular XBLA section. When I searched the 'net for it, it used to be an 80 point game. Now it's a 400 point game -- don't think Indie games could go above 260 (might be wrong with that).

Regardless, I'll definate have check out at least the trial.
