The URL in my signature won't work!

I had a URL to my site in my signature but now it goes to http://www.*************.com/.

When ever I enter my URL it turns to that. I thought you were allowed to link to a blog in a signature? Any help?

Why would you ban the very mention of another site? seems pretty stupid, the same thing NeoGaf does to VGChartz. Its the equivalent of a child putting their fingers in their ears and yelling "na na na na na na"

This has been explained countless times before. We have a no self promotion rule in Touch Arcade. Why? Because prior to the rule there was very little discussion that actually took place here and instead someone would post a link to a new game, and the entire first page would just be people linking their "review blogs".

We usually edit out links and send PM's the first couple times we notice people breaking this rule, then we step it up to infractions, then if the offenders still don't get the message, site gets filtered. While I don't know why the site in question is filtered, I know all of the filters that I've asked to be added were for very good reason.

I posted a link to the site in a couple review threads and I was instantly banned without warning. (I didn't know the rule.) I just found out they instantly banned my site too. Why didn't I even receive a warning?

I guess we should allow links to viagra sites and other spam too?
