A few 'now free' titles

Guess-N-it $0.99 -> Free

Half Dead $0.99 -> Free

3D Space Flight $0.99 -> Free

Conundrum $1.99 -> Free

3D Space Flight looks like an uninspired version of Glyder. Conundrum is a Mastermind clone. Guess-n-it, you just guess a number. The shooting one looks like garbage imo.
This post isn't really for the seasoned iPodders who are struggling with the 9 page limit, but more so for newcomers who like to test the waters with freeware.

I have Conundrum. It's one of those code breaker "Mastermind" type games.

It has a visually nice interface, but the controls are impractical. To select a color, you have to tap a peg until it turns the color you want. It's tedious and inefficient. In a game that depends on a good memorization of abstract sequences, you don't want to waste time tapping blindly to change the color of a peg. A palette box would be a better way to go. They may have been going for a sparse, uncluttered look - and it does look nice - but gameplay mechanics should not suffer for aesthetics.

Sadly, almost all other implementations of this game are remarkably ugly. Conundrum certainly looks the best, so there's that, at least.
