Hi guys,

just got approval from apple for this one and preparing the final marketing assets and uploading the final Android version for release next week. Looking forward to getting another game in to the store after Battle Academy's success! This is a much smaller game - with a special launch price of $1.99 up to $2.99 after 2 weeks.

Its a universal binary but we don't have a category for that in our site yet so we have a separate page and screens for each platform!

I took the plung on Battle Academy a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it (and I've barely scratched the surface). I'll pick this one up as well and look forward to Panzer Corps.

I have a feeling this has been approved but Slitherine are waiting until next week to unleash this particular beast. Probably the Wednesday Midnight release cycle.

Hope not though - I could do with something new to play on this rainy weekend in the UK!

If it is, let's hope they dropped the frigging tree growing mechanic. That ruined it for me. I like the random map generator on this also so I am hopeful that it's as good as it sounds.

The Slitherine website lists 2-5-12 as the release cat for the iOS version. Now, with their backwards European dates that means May 2nd which is the usual Wednesday just like everything else.

But, $1.99 is dirt cheap for a $30 PC game and I won't have to see a hundred twerps crying about the price. (I hope). Maybe some knucklehead will want it free since they bought the PC version lol.

Not really quite the same as the pc game, tho.

Seems pc has a map editor and up to 8 person multiplayer via LAN or Internet.
Mobile version has none of that ... going by their site at least.

If the iOS game does have any of those it would be a massive bargain indeed.
For just single player the price seems about average.
IMO
