Absolutely. We're working on it now and hope to have it ready in a couple months (at the outside... I don't want to over promise..)

Please stay tuned, and we hope you all really enjoy it.

We worked hard to make it a pretty simple game, but to get all the details right. It's supposed to feel like one of the classic arcade games.. pick it up, pump it with a few quarters (in this case, just four!), and go for a high score.

Let us know what you think!

thanks so much for posting the video!

This is Chapter 1... where things are pretty easy. Our artist, Stephen, is the current reining champion on Game Center... can any of you beat his high score?

Thanks again!

P.S. We're working on an HD version for the iPad, and submitted 1.1 to the AppStore two days ago. Please stay tuned!

Default Game Impressions

Fun game -- I am still getting the hang of when to switch shooters. Definitely has that old-style arcade feel -- mashup of Joust, Missile Command and Galaga anyone?

Glad to see someone not going for the standard, high-gloss art look -- it's visually appealing, and not in the standard way.

Highly addictive and a fun casual game that many will enjoy. The premise is simple, tap to shoot the grems before they annihilate your village, sound simple, but with the added strategy to switch characters due to all power used up adds another facet to the norm of "tap to shoot".

Graphically very nice to look at, grems are easy to spot, however, more resolution could be used (IMO).

Sound, easy on the ears and fits the game.

Gameplay, fun and hectic (in the latter stages), and as stated earlier, having to switch characters adds more depth. With the addition of power ups to assist makes the game play more entertaining and addicting.

Suggestions, add an instructional section to assist players and let them know what is what and necessity of switching characters.

Overall a fun and entertaining game that borders on "casual" and yet "strategic", get it, it is fun and you will be hooked.

4/5

Capricornman,

I am really sorry for your encountering these bugs. We just discovered the iPod Touch problem two days ago. We have a fix ready and are submitting it to Apple within a day or so. (As it turns out, some of the older iPhone 4 units and iPod Touch units have older chips and less ram than we tested for.)

I really appreciate your patience! I will definitely keep an eye on this forum, but if you'd like to contact us directly, feel free to email info [@at] tintruck [.dot] com.

I really appreciate you posting your question.. I'm sure you're not the only one. We'll hammer this issue out and be sure to get the game into your hands soon! (and if Apple would give developers like us a means of offering refunds, we'd do more than just say, "Thank you!")

All my best,

- Scott / Tin Truck

Grem Legends, developed by Tin Truck Games, is one of the most addictive games I have played in a very long time. In this arcade style game, you face waves of enemies, known as Gremlins, similar to that of Call of Duty Zombies, which fall down the screen to try and eat away the villages and trees at the bottom of the screen. The objective is to tap and shoot down the enemies using either your archer or bomber and prevent the village and trees from being completely destroyed.

The game has two modes, an adventure mode, and endless mode. In adventure, there are six different stages, each with six waves of enemies which all get more and more increasingly difficult. Upon completing each stage, you can unlock that stage to be used in Endless mode. In Endless Mode, you can select any of the six stages from adventure mode and face unlimited waves of enemies.

The scoring system is unique because you can score points based off the different Gremlins shot down, and various powerups obtained, however on top of that, there is a score multiplier which increases based off how accurately you shoot down the Gremlins. Your multiplier increases after
every enemy shot down, and resets after three consecutive misses. This brilliant scoring system allows the player to not only focus on defending the villages, but also how accurately they shoot at the Gremlins. With Gamecenter support, you can compare your scores with the rest of the world on the leaderboards. On my first completion of Adventure mode, I scored 325,460 points. Can you beat my score?

Here’s a gameplay video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKspUKzyHoU

Overall, this game is an easy 5 stars, and I highly suggest you all check it out! I've been playing this nonstop for the past few days and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
